I just sat down and did it. First I had to make her a pattern and get it fitted to her, then I cut out the Georgia fabric and the lining. I think it turned out quite good for my first try. What do you guys think?

I'm impressed! I have been wanting to learn to make some clothes too. I think I'm going to start with their halloween costumes!

The dress looks great, and the model is awfully cute! You could improve on it using a a fabric with Yellow Jackets next time. ;)

What a great job you did, I'm so sports oriented, I thought Georgia fabric was the name of some designer. Anyway the fabric's beautiful, and so is Bella; you did a great job!

Thank you all for your nice comments about Bella's dress. The pattern was the most difficult thing, because I had to make it. It was sort of trial and error. I measured her, and sort of sketched it out on paper....and then cut it out to see how it fit....many times, each time shortening here and lengthening there, until it was just right. After I got the pattern down it didn't take but a few hours to cut out the dress and lining, and sew it up. I'd say about 3 1/2 hours. The only bad thing is....that's 3 1/2 hours I could have been cuddling my Bella!

Your first time:eek: I love it, is so cute love the G fabric, I start it not long ago to make my girls clothes and I'm saving tons of money, well not really:rolleyes:since I have more to spend in other things for them, ha,ha;)
