My heart aches for you. I would be so devestated too. The only thing I can say is that he was in the perfect place when he passed on, and that was in your arms.

Oh my gosh. After i read this last night. I cancelled all my plans and snuggled with my pup all night. I have only had him 4 weeks but I am in love!!

I cant even imagine how you feel. I wish i could do more than send you words but know that all of us YT mommies are here for you (at least in the ways that we can be)

I once read a post on here that talked about a little boy. and when he was asked why pups live shorter lives than people he said..... Well life is all about trying to be loving and caring and a good friend right??? well dogs already are all those things so they dont need to be here as long :) your lil guy must have just had so so so much love.

I completely know what you are going through. I was a mess when Keelyn got hit by a car at 4 months old, I can only imagine having had her until 10 months and THEN losing her. I was A MESS, couldn't stop crying, couldn't breath..It is completely normal.

I know not everyone feels comfortable doing this...but I got another puppy very shortly after (like 48 hours) and she helped TREMENDOUSLY...the first week was hard, because obviously I was still crying and Mya just wasn't Keelyn, and I wasn't her mommy yet. I was constantly comparing her to Keelyn.

But now she is my baby, and looking back, I honestly think I would have had to be hospitalized if it hadn't been for Mya. Keelyn died in my arms also after having witnessed a horrid tragedy happen to her.

I don't know if my solution would work for you, but I do know that she helped ease my pain TREMENDOUSLY.

I am thinking of you and just know that time is your best friend and your worst enemy. It is the only thing that can make the pain subside but you have to wait for time to pass. and it will pass, be strong.

I agree about getting another puppy. I had Brutus 13 wonderful years, but when he died totally unexpectedly, I got Maxwell within 30 days. I could not stand coming home to silence. Laughter heals.

oh bless your heart!! I feel so bad for you. I have had a couple of dogs pass away but I had had them for years when they died of cancer, both of them. just take things a day at a time and do what is right for you. remember all the good times-it really does help!

I am so sorry for your loss. What a precious baby. For those of us who have been through it, we can certainly sympathize. It has to be one of the hardest things in the world. I can only say in time it gets better but give yourself plenty of time to grieve, and it does take a long time. Prayers with you. RIP little one.
