We used a onesie on both of our girls and what we did was just really watch them, if they got up and started heading towards a pee pad we would unsnap the onesie and then resnap it back...this just means you have to really watch them, we had the weekend to be with them before we had to go back to work/classes so that gave them three good days to start getting better and by monday we took the onesie off and trusted them while they were by themselves!! Both of our girls healed perfectly, you can't even tell they were spayed anymore...no more scar!! |
AWH that makes me feel a little at ease but still scared..It's like when you're getting a puppy (except the feeling is less scared and more excited), you don't know what to expect and you get a little scared but once you have the pup, you know exactly what to do. I hope this is the case. Once she has it done, hopefully I will know what to do. |
What about wrapping an ace bandage around her body in the area of the stitches, and that way the pee-pee area will be open and then the stitches would be covered? It might not work, but it's an idea!! |
