Personally, I don't like anything with meat "meal", corn or any type of gluten. I had Gracie on the RC for little puppies when she was little, she itched so bad on it from the corn. |
If You ment Royal Canin dog food , it has recently been recalled By the US Food and Drug Administration. Check out the Health and Diet thread on Dog Food recalls. Also The Royal Canin Vet Diet as well. Both Dog food products contain (Rice Gluten) So as for now I would not feed any dog this Food. |
I agree, my Ted was so itchy from this. It's safer to go to a grain free kibble. |

Royal Caine Dog Food good or bad? I changed Gucci from Eukanuba when Petsmart was out to Royal Canin. Gucci started itching and losing his hair, so I changed him to Life's Abundance and he's doing great. No itching and his hair has come in nicely. He doesn't wolf it down, but does finish his meals eventually. Sometimes we play games to get him to finish. He's only 3.5# at 5 months, so we're certainly not over feeding him! |
I don't see Corn listed in the ingredients above. For one thing depending on your dogs age you can switch to another speciality for the Yorkshire Terrier. Again what I feed has on corn in it. If you see this on the list of recall foods then provide us with a list we aren't seeing it. |
