I just called and they wont release him for a few days, but I'm going over now, I don't know if I have to put a hold on him, or what the procedure is.

Good Luck! If this doesn't work out keep trying for a rescue or shelter yorkie. They need love and a good home also! I had no idea about this until after a got my Yorkie. I would recommend everyone look there first.

Sorry it took me so late to post, but I'm kind of disappointed, when I got to the Animal Service Office, they told me they had a hold on him already, took all my information, just in case, if after 7 days, the owner, or the person that has the hold on him, does not claim him, then they will call me.He looks in good shape, very scared, but healthy, and his hair cut is recent, so I'm sure, and really hope his owner finds him.

I know, he is very sweet, and very well taken care off, so he probably wondered around and got lost. You could tell he is used to be inside and spoiled .Hope he goes to a good home.

If he looks that well taken care of I'm sure his parents are scouring the town looking for him! Hopefully they will check with the animal shelters!!!

Thanks for keeping us up to date!!! Sorry it didn't work out for you........but as hard as it is to believe there are people out there that give up their yorkies....for whatever reasons....I've heard of quite a few in animal shelters!

When I was looking into shelters on the internet...I scoured a couple hundred miles away from me...and we ended up driving over 2 hours to get our dakota..........which is one of the most wonderful dogs ever...even tho she's not a yorkie! lol (can't hold that against her) ;)
