I don't get it! She knows better!!! Mya I swear to god is potty trained, she KNOWS not to go inside...she even goes to the door and sits there to let me know she needs to go out like 95% of the time! But then there are those times when #1 she pees AT the door, or #2 she'll pee and THEN bark to go outside and pee more! Why does she ignore her training! Because I KNOW she knows better! She is almost 5 months, and I know it takes longer sometimes...but I mean she isn't not potty trained, but she isn't completely potty trained. I just didn't know they could be sometimes and then other times ignore what they know! |

This is just my guess, but she is only five months old. She is still a puppy and they get so busy playing that they don't think to take the potty break until they can't hold any longer. I used to do this too when I was a young puppy.:2puppy: :yelrotflm Kerry Barrett |
to me it sounds like you have a great dog. My guess is her bladder just gets full and she has to go. Give her more time. The other thing to consider is how long she waits at the door? Maybe she has been standing for awhile and no one notices? |
Well the thing is...my apartment is tiny and not exaggerating my eye is on her 24 7 bc I am allowed to bring her to school with me :) I have never just caught her sitting there waiting I see her go and sit then I let her out When she pees I catch her cuz I see her walk over there and I get up to let her out and she doesn't wait sigh I know she's still young I'm being patient I just didnakt know if it was normal for her to sometimes be trained and sometimes not |

Bruiser does the exact same thing. Ever since I got him, he just seem to take to the pee pads right away, but sometimes he just has to go on the floor (10 percent of the time). He is really young yet, so I am guessing they need that year or so before something just clicks:) |
