My yorkie licks me all the time!!!
 
Hello,

My little Chloe loves to lick me all the time. She licks my arms and my hands and my legs and my feet. She does this all the time. She also loves to keep licking if you have a sore or a bite on your leg or arm. You can tell her no and she just keeps licking. She does almost everyone this way. My husband said that she is licking salt off of our skin but I really want to think that she just loves me to pieces and that's her way of showing it. Ha Ha!

how adorable!!! I would look at it that way too! :D I have to practically beg for kisses from Daizy....but it's always sweet when I get them.

Oh my...Yogi does this alll the time!! He is 3 years old and has had this thing with licking my feet, legs, arms, face you name it since he was 10 weeks old.... He really love to lick lotion off of my legs and Johnsons Baby lotion is his all time fav. He wakes me up in the mornings licking my ears and cheeks, lol he's a passionate little guy.

Gypsy is a big licker too. Now with the other pup, it is nonstop at night till they wear themselves out. They seem to compete on who can lick me or Jim the most.

Molly & Abby love to lick my hubby. Not me:confused: It drives hubby crazy, he can't stand it. I always tell him he don't deserve there kisses! They could lick me anytime it wouldn't bother me "I don't think." Abby will lick my ankles when I get out of the shower,but that's the only time. Of course they both give me kisses all the time!:p

Suzi is A big licker too. That is her favorite thin in the world to do . I think they learned this behavior from their mothers when very young puppies. Some of them just do it more. I have learned that it makes the Dog feel good when they lick , it releases endorphins in their bodies.
Suzi licks my ears, cheeks, forehead, and nose. The nose is what I can't stand . LOL . :aimeeyork

Trixie doesnt do that to me, but when my daughter comes from school, or after she goes to bed. trixie cleans her face by liking it.

This drives me absolutely crazy!! I really do hate being licked....I know it should be a sweet thing and all but I hate it!

Alphy will give everyone in the world kissies except for me, hurts my feelings because he is my heart. :p

Murphy will is a licker though. Constantly, drives my kids nuts. :)

If you want them to stop licking put it on a cue and then never use the word.
You may get some fall out sometimes but if you get it under stimlus control it should stop.

Me too! Pepper gives kisses to my boyfriend when he doesn't even like being licked. She doesn't lick me nearly as much. It's sad but what can you do!

Bree is also a licker especially if you have lotion on your skin. It drives me crazy when she does it as soon as I step out of the shower she is always right there waiting to lick the water off my ankles and legs.

Is there any way to stop my yorkie from licking all the time ? I love him dearly but it drives me crazy.
