So i made a shirt out of a sock
 
So I made a t shirt out of one of Sumos Favorite socks! haha he loves it. He runs and slidesss on our wood floor cause he knows its slippery it is so funny!!!

Has anyone else made any clothes on their own?
Or does anyone else's fur baby love to wear new things???

That sounds adorable! I tried to sew a dress for Bella once, but I quickly discovered I should leave it to the experts! It was not cute!

I have made several shirts for my little rescue Chi from socks. They are easy to make and fit great and you can put a harness on over them.

I think I might even go buy some fun colored ones today :) like some striped ones. He's so tiny that a sock fits just perfect right now :)

What a great idea. I made Jasmine a dress from a pattern I traced from her ferret harness. I think I might try the sock idea I could add ruffles and call it a dress. Here is a picture of her in her dress I made.

I have never made anything out of a sock. I will try to do it for winter that sounds fun. I did make a bunny custume out of a stuffed bunny rabit. I also dress trixie with the teddy bear clothes. It fits her perfectly

I just can`t sew myself, but, the other day went to the store and bought my Daisy, baby clothing and customized to fit her, I`ll post pics later.

I made a sweater out of a sleeve from a bulky sweater last winter. It was cute. I used that No frey glue stuff to keep it from raveling out and the cuff made a nice turtle neck.

could you post a pic of the sock shirt? I'm fairly new on here and I am having a hard time picturing how this would work in my mind.
:confused: Right now I have a teapot male, but I am hoping to get a little girl around Christmas. I'm not great with sewing, but if it isn't too difficult, I might give it a try.

Its supppper easy!!!!! i just got a mid calf length sock. and cut the "foot" part off. at this point it looks like a tube. the top of the sock i used has a design on it so u used that to go around his neck. (its kinda like a turtle neck tank.) then i cut arm holes for him and sewed the bottom. my guess is you dont even really need to sew the bottom. you can make them as easy or as creative and complicated as you want :) but that is how i did it.

Thanks everyone I couldn't find anything to fit her or a pattern.

lol.. I think we are all getting into the creative mood. I started making vest for Lucky and can't quit. I made a jean one this morning. lol. They are really pretty easy to make.

The only thing I have tried to make tobey is a santa outfit out of some red fleece and white fur trim....it ended up looking like a dress or some kind of cape... not as cute as i envisioned :rolleyes:
