Where does your furbaby sleep? ;)
 

I just thought I'd share what I think is cute/funny sleeping arrangements for my little princess. This has been the progression:

We didn't want her to sleep in our bed (for obvious reasons), but when she was brand new, boy did she have a set of lungs on her!! Howl, howl, howl....so, she slept with us until she got a little bit bigger.

Then, I put her soft fluffy blanket in a bed right next to my bed, and we didn't let her whine her way out of it. For awhile, she chose to sleep on my boyfriends discarded close next to his side of the bed, but then decided her bed was pretty cozy after all and spent weeks and weeks sleeping in it. (Of course, she had to scratch around and get her blanket juuuuussst right first :rolleyes:) She doesn't even whine anymore...when I get in bed and turn out the lights, she goes right to bed!!

NOW, however, she has figured out that she can JUMP into my waist-high or so hamper and sleep on top of the clothes in there!! Every night for the past several weeks after the light goes out, I can hear her jump into the hamper (it takes a couple tries), scratch around to get her "bed" just right, and then nada all night. When the clothes get low (after laundry day), I stuff a couple of pillows in so she won't get stuck! She used to be up and down during the night to potty (leaving evidence on her pad by the door), but now she stays there all night. I keep her in my bedroom during the day when I'm gone too, and when she's not waiting for me at the door when I open it, she's looking up at me sleepily from my hamper!! (She does occasionally sleep in her bed still, but more often than not she is in the hamper.) Silly girl! I'm thinking of making her stairs so it will be easier to get in and out of....although, I put pillows in front so she could get on those and then jump in, but she chooses to jump up the long way. Oh well...we'll see about those stairs, I guess.

Sooo, does your furbaby sleep anywhere interesting? I'm curious to know if anyone else's baby sleeps in a hamper, or anywhere else cute/funny!!

Its funny you should say that because Scarlet sleeps behind the laundry basket, in a little cubby beside the dresser. It must be a cozy place to sleep!

When traveling like now in the comfy chair in the room.
At night in bed with me.
At home the best pplace these days is under the be.

I adore Mika's favorite spot too.

We're boring here....my three sleep in bed with us. Or perhaps we sleep in bed...with them. We are outnumbered afterall.

Fiona used to stay in her crate, until she got to know us a bit better, and knew we would give into her. So now, she sleeps in bed with us. She is either right on top of my head, in between my boyfriend and I, or under our bed.

Ellie sleeps in my laundry basket occasionally when it is full but most of the time she sleep with me.

Thats so funny you say that..cause when i take a nap before work , Pasquale usually sleeps on top of my head..he likes to play with my hair...god only knows why :hmmm33:

That's a really cute story.

Both of mine sleep in their expen at night. They have their crates in there but I also have 2 beds for them.

building stairs for the hamper?
 

HAHA, that's funny.

Maybe you can get a hamper that's a lot lower than your current waist-high one ... instead of building stairs for your existing hamper. LOL.

she probably likes the hamper because it has mommy and daddy smell in there.

I caught Fiona in the full laundry basket WITH CLEAN clothes a couple weeks ago...it was sooo cute!

My sweetie justs sleeps in her crate at night. She loves her crate. She even goes in by herself when she's tired and goes to sleep. She's such a good girl sometimes. :)

Sumo sleeps with me at night unless I put him in his crate.. he's pretty content there too. However, if I am not in bed hhe loves to sleep on our living room rug ... like this.. haha

haha-- they way the picture's shot, it looks like he cleaned off those plates and was then down for the count!

Boring here too. Gypsy likes to sleep under the cover in out bed. Hubby and I each have our own cover and she wants mine. The only problem is sometimes Puff wants under there too and Gypsy doesn't care for sharing sometimes. The other day, I had Puff curled up next to my shoulders and Gypsy curled around my hips.
