Need a quick answer dogs ate wild mushrooms Does anyone know if wild mushrooms are poisinous to these babies....they all just ate one each I think..caught them after the fact. They are very small mushrooms growing in the grass here!! |
Honesstly, I would take a sample and get to the vet asap. You can do a search online too. But gosh...how scary. I really hope your babies are okay! Good luck and let us know, k? deb |

they can be very harmful! I would call the vet, and just stay by their side!!!! Good luck! |
To induce vomiting...it's 2 teaspoons water to 1 teaspoon peroxide. Take them outside... In this case that is what a vet will recommend...they aren't mushroom experts and the vomiting isn't going to hurt them. You could call an emergency vet office and get their opinion over the phone if that would make you feel better. |

Thankyou everyone for the valuable information on these websites..through these we were able to find out that the species they ate were not poisonous! But man, did it scare me! Especially our new baby!!! She was the one eating the fastest!!! They were growing in the potty box my husband built them on the balcony...so no more going outside until the box is inspected..actually I think I'm going to pull the grass out until we find some more sod..its not worth taking a risk..it could still grow and produce something poisonous to them!! I am grateful to my responders here:) |
