How can you tell what color they will end up? Macie is 5 months and her head has turned silver except the tips but nothing on her back?

Mostly by the parents. If you look at the parents, this will give you a good idea of what color they might be. The breeder should be able to help you with this too. There is no guarantee though. They all change and it can take over a year to see what they are going to be.

Baxter took over a year to really tell what he was going to be. Chloe has already started to change and she is just 5 months old.

I didn't get to see the parents! I know I know; got suckered in. The things I said I would never do..... I did. I had 3 requirements going in; she had to look like a Macie, babydoll face, and stay small.

If you have a copy of her pedigree it will list the color of the Parents, grandparents under their names. If not, you must just wait and see... The one line I have goes almost fully silver on the head before turning a lovely gold. (which can take up to two years)

Macie is adorable... :)

I always thought Sammi was going to stay dark...This first pic is of her at 14weeks old....She is almost all black with dark tan...

Now she is almost blonde on the top of her head and a light silver/grey on her back and legs...(2nd pic)

Her mom was Blue/Gold and her dad was Black/Tan

You will have to wait and see what color she will be...

She is registered--could I get her pedigree from AKC?

Chanin... ohhh Gizmo is looking for a girlfriend.... they are the same age!! He weighs in at 2.14lbs and is 5months old 2 weeks!! He is wondering if Miss Macie is interested?

This is the same color Ceeby's parents were. So he might turn out to look like your baby? he looks like the puppy picture now except his hair is longer and he has more tan on him with a white head.
