Strong Pee I've notice the last couple of days that Bella's pee seem really strong. She is pee pad trained and usually I never never smell pee, but the last few day's I have been. They are changed daily. I did switch brands of pad too at the same time, but not sure if the new pads just don't cover the odor or what. Could something be wrong, could she not be drinking enough water, or is it the pad? Thanks sooo much:) |
Do you keep water available for her all the time? Is she eating, drinking and acting the same. Stella's pee is horribly stinky, so I feel your pain:) but she hasn't had a kidney problem. It could very possibly be the pad change. |
do you see any signs of blood in her urine? she may have a urinary track infection? |
I would guess if the only thing that has noticeably changed is the brand of pad, rather than her behaviors, then that is probably it. Maybe try switching back to the "normal" brand and see if that stops it - then you'd know for sure. |
Yeah could be the pads, but if you want a peace of mind you can always take her to the vet just to make sure:aimeeyork |
Hi Denise! I hope Bella is okay! She's still acting normal, right? I think sometimes their pee can be stronger...I remember once Maddie pee'd on the carpet and it was a dark color...and it was really hard getting the stain out. I hope it's nothing with Bella and just the pads! Hugs to you! |
