how many... How many yorkies here like to be cradled in their humans arms on their backs like little babies? Chip lets us hold him like that all the time... Smokey won't though |

One out of Three Yorkies Artie Loves it and will let me hold him anytime and he sleeps like that every night, on his back with his legs straight up in the air and snores very loud! Abigail and Pom Pom dont' like it but I'm trying to make them comfortable with it and Training them to do it? Maybe it's just a "Male" thing b/c my other 2 are Females? |

Maxwell lets me carry him like that when I am taking him from our bed right before lights out, to his bed in another room. He won't let me do it other times, because I think he associates it with bedtime. It's like a bedtime ritual. If we try to skip letting him up on our bed, he refuses to go to his bed. But even 60 seconds on our bedspread, and he's content to be "carried" to bed. I enjoy it, my husband just laughs. |
Too Cute!!! Cooper loves it too. He will sometimes stop playing and be tired. Jump up on my lap and litterally "flop"on his back. As if to say OK mom Rock me. I rock him and rub his belly. He spreads his legs out too as if to say.... "See my weiner mom", It is still there even if you took away my "boys". (he has been recently neutered) Just cracks my husband up. |
i use to be able to do that all the time with Suzi. But then she would not let me. However, my son was the only one Suzi would allow do that ! The first vet visit the vet held her like that and it was too cute. She is such A baby. :aimeeyork |

Romie loves it and my mother gave us her 9 month old schnauzer a couple of weeks ago and he loves it too. |
Annie loves to be held like that. She can just melt me when she looks up at me from in my arms. |
Bentley will jump up on my lap and start leeeaaaning backward really slow waiting on me to cradle him...lol. He falls asleep and we giggle at him when he starts snoring. He doesn't know any other way to be held. His other favorite position is on top of my head in the bed and on my neck on the couch so he can keep one eye on the cat outside:p |
All of mine will let me do that to them but Gracie is the worst! If I sit on the couch she jumps up in my lap and throws herself on her back. Since she was a pup she loves to look at you upside down and now that she's pregnant OMG she's pitiful! LOL! |
