Hairbows Does anyone know any good websites to order hairbows for yorkies? The last grooming salon I used had some good bows that were durable and reusable, but I don't think I will be using that salon again. |
This is where I ordered my bows. I just ordered them the other day so I have not got them yet. I year they are really nice. http://www.dog-bows.com/ hth. |
Here is a different link to the same site: http://www.dog-bows.com/cgi-bin/TheF...Touch/shop.cgi |

http://www.mightymitedoggear.com/linksequipment.html If you scroll down to "conformation equipment" and click on the links for the “itty-bitty dog store” or the “Finishing Touch,” you will see that both sell show-bows at reasonable prices. These are show bows - which are stiff and reusable but a bit pricier than the ones you get in a bag and are disposable. |
I know it's gonna sound funny but I got my male yorkie (yes i said male) bows to support our troops and other MANLY bow from www.perfectdogbows.com. I hope that helps!! |
E-bay, E-bay, E-bay....Oh, they are wonderful and I have received gobs for next to nothing in cost. Schatzie's hair is finally getting long enough to "need" hairbows and it's such a joy to pick out new one's each day. ( I know, it's the little things in life that keep us happy, ha haa) Anyway, good luck if you decide to check out E-bay :p |

What do you put in the search? Do you put dog bows, or Yorkie bows, or hair bows? I love e-bay and would like to check it out. Thanks, |
If I remember quickly I just keyed in "dog hair bows" under the search icon. You will find so many.... good luck! :D |

I have got some cute ones at WalMart in the baby department.................Cindy |
Thank you for all of your responses. I can't wait to check out all of these websites. P.J. is a little boy too so I am curious to see what the "manly" bows look like. I receive a lot of grief from my husband for putting bows in his hair. Thanks again for all of your help. |

Thank you so much!!! I shouldn't get too much grief from my husband if I ordered that one. That is too cute. |
i have always used some sort of something in Buckeye's hair. at Christmas time i went into the baby department in wal mart and got him some of those scrunchies that had reigndeer, candy canes and snowmen. i usually use the blue or white very small scrunchies. or just the latex bands alone. my husband gives me too much grief to put a bow in his hair. i bet you could make your own by using a football button on a band. how much more boyish can you get with footballs? |
I bought bows from Ebay also, from this lady. In fact, I requested a all blue, by pack and she made a set up. 12 bows for $20.00. They are darling, but Trevor's hair still isn't long enough to get them to stay. Maybe soon. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...352379522&rd=1 |
Idenise, what a great idea about attaching a football to the band, how creative!! :D |
I saw a bunch of bows at Dogs Outfitter.com. THey sell a lot of groomer supplies and the more you order the cheaper they are. www.dog.com |
I just received the bows that I ordered from here: www.perfectdogbows.com Although a big pricey, they are WELL WORTH IT! The small bows (5/8") come with two rubber bands. Lexi's hair isn't that long and I put the bands together and only twisted once. They've held for hours so far. I also paid the extra 75 cents for one of the 7/8" bows and had a barrette added to it. There's no way that is going to come out of her hair. Very tight. I might add that these bows are extremely well made. I am truly impressed with the workmanship. P.S. I like the option of building a custom bow, too. I have a cute little tank top that I was able to match perfectly. I even got to choose what decoration I wanted in the middle of the bow. Oh...the things that make us happy! :D |
 I have a male yorkie is it ok to put a blue bow in his hair? Or is it weird. |
I think a blue bow would be just fine....And there were previous posts giving great ideas by attaching a little plastic football or something "boyish" to the bow. He's your baby and you have fun with him!! They have awesome boyish t-shirts also and other boyish clothes he could wear.... And besides, your Yorkie will NEVER mind a bit whether the bow be blue, pink, or green that he wears!! LOL ;) |
