It happened to me 3 Attachment(s) The groomer cut all of Tucker's off! I asked her to please take two inches off all over and instead, she left less than two inches all over. I swear, I don't think groomers even listen to what you are saying. I think its time to buy that video everyone keeps talking about and to learn how to do it myself. I still think he's a dollbaby though. Oh well, at least he's more sanitary and takes less time to brush  |
how frustrating for you! i don't know what Tucker looked like before, but man oh man, i think he's a cutie in those pics. I just want to kiss that sweet face. :D |

2 Attachment(s) Thanks for the compliments guys. Here's the frustrating part....the before pictures..... |
I was going to type he is so cute with his hair cut, and he still is. But WOW he is awesome with his hair. Yeap I would be upset also.:( |
frustrating...I understand Quote:

I think he Looks Adorable!! Handsome with, and a Cutie pie without! I don't think you really can go wrong either way!!:p |
He does look cute though. My groomer comes to my house. I can watch her and learn eh. She's so great though. I don't envy groomers at all. It's not like most Yorkies will stand like a statue. They don't. Mostly they wriggle and squirm until they get used to it. After about 10 goes. lol. She's coming to groom Suzi tomorrow. Her first time. Hugs Shirl x x |
I must have a mental disorder or something because (even though he is just as cute) if someone touched my Yorkies hair - I would LITERALLY harm them. Literally. I would beat them til the law came and then go to jail. Knowing this - no one touches her - never has never will because I would absolutely beat someone. No doubt in my mind. So from hearing the horror stories here I simply never even romanced the idea of letting someone else groom my dog. Not worth going to prison over. :thumbdown Instead I just comb her everyday and never let her get too yucky. I LOVE how their hair feels so I usually brush her multiple times a day. Its soothing to the both of us. For someone to compromise what she and I have together - not to mention the time it takes to grow and keep combed and conditioned... Lord be with them if they take scissors to my mutt! I thank YT for the breeder stories. Its saved me from prison by simply never going that route. Your little man is TOO CUTE! He is just as cute with short hair as long. No joke! Maybe even cuter - just in a different way. My man loves his 'bear face' and the cut! He said when he gets his boy thats how he is going to keep him. :animal-pa |
I know the feeling. I could'nt believe the color of Luckys legs. lol. They are all tan. Before his hair was cut off they had black in them and even some almost white. He looks so different but I am getting used to it. Your Tucker is beautiful either way. Trust me, I am going to be doing Luckys grooming from now on to. |
ohhh he is just too cute!!! |
It's such a shock, isn't it :). At least they left his topknot alone :). He is really precious, and more importantly, he looks so happy in ALL of the pictures, and that's what it is all about! Amy |
Actually, i think he looks beautiful BOTH ways...:D |
What a cutie pie! With his new cut, he reminds me of Brooke's little Tatum, in the face :) He really does look more puppyish and we wub puppies  Did you say anything to the groomer? Give Tucker hugs from us  Tammy, Abby:aimeeyork and Daisy:aimeeyork |
He is so handsome I like him with the short coat but the long coat did someone say prision lol. Those colors in his face and the ears are what I am trying to achieve. He is beautiful. |
I had posted earlier that our groomer cut off Sophie's beard. My husband suggested that I call and let them know that when I say I want the usual cut that it does NOT mean cut the beard off! Strange, but the last time she was groomed there we commented on the fact that they had left such a long beard. It looked nice, and we generally get a good cut there. |
Kind of happened to me..... ....but my Yorkie was matted behind the neck and under his arms. So she had no choice since I couldn't get it out either (tho I do groom him daily) but to take a blade and literally cut it out. He kind of looked like your dog after he was done...tho he didn't have all that hair before like yours. Maybe longer in length on his backside. She shaved his belly area also. Took me a while to get use to it. But it cooled him down for the summer. It will grown back, they told me....and it will for you. Hang in there. |
What a cute fella! Sorry for your frusteration! |
He is STILL so adorable - what a cute little face! |

Ya know that's why I'm not too upset. If they had taken his topknot, I think I would have been really angry. I specifically said to leave it. Of course, I also said to only take 2 inches. Anyway, I have to have a topknot! |

Tucker is adorable both with hair, and without. He's so darned cute, he really made me smile! I'm really sorry your groomer cut him so short though. I know that is a bummer! Thank goodness he is such a cutie pie even with a short cut! My groomer is my best friend. She is *really* a barber by trade, but prefers to groom dogs and grooms them out of her house. She also cuts my DH's and my hair, and has never let me down. We both have very long hair and most people with scissors in their hands really want to whack off our long hair. So, I'm hoping when my puppy gets old enough to groom that my BFF will do a great job on his hair. He is going in next month for his first trim. |
