Connie's Libby has a new little sister 4 Attachment(s) Libby momma Molly had her little girl yesterday 9-9-2008. At about 3:10 pm and she weighs 5-3/4 ozs. Mom and daughter are doing well after a rocky start. Molly was having a hard time trying to push the pup out. She strained for a good while. I knew she was carrying only one by X-RAY and carried until 65 days. I was afraid the pup was going to be to big to deliver normally. She finally pushed the pups head out and then the pup was stuck. My son, his wife and I were on the was to the Vets office when Molly sitting on my lap finally was able to push the pup all the way out. We had to pull over and the pup was delivered in the car about 1 mile away from the Vets office. This is something I hope, I don't ever have to do again... This will be Molly's last litter. I was just so happy she gave me a little girl. I am planning to keep this girl and trying to decide if I want to leave her in a full tail. What to you guy think?? |

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww you know when you see the puppy with mom she is kinda of a big one. Glad all went well. I vote for a docked tail. |

I love that third picture, she has her paws open and it's like she's saying "I'm here world" I had never seen a Yorkie with a tail until I saw a member's boy and it's really adorable! I know they say in Europe it's really common. Congratulations, I'm glad they are both fine after a rocky beginning! |

Congratulations!! What a cutie Does she have a name? I'm not sure about the tail docking, in fact, I have never seen a yorkie with a full tail. (I imagen it is cute. :) ) If you are keeping her I say keep it. :) |

Congratulations! She looks like a proud mamma! |

Thanks All....:D Momma is not small she is about 6- lbs. Connie's Libby weighed the 5-3/4 ozs at birth too. I don't have a name for her yet. |

AWWW She is cute. Lucy got her full tail and I think It look good on her, I like both ways If you are going to dress your dog a lot. I personally think it look cutter with the shorter tail. |

Awwww, what a sweetie and extra sweet that she is Libby's sister :) and I got to see Libby's Mama too! Both are darling! How much did the new pup weigh? I say keep the tail...why dock it if you're keeping her? I just hate the thought of docking and both of mine are docked. Thanks so much for sharing!!!! :D |

I hadn't seen this thread, and Tammy sent me the link. Thanks Tammy! I am so thrilled for you, Molly and that new precious baby! I'm so thankful that it all turned out...what a scare you had! Libby is so excited to have a new baby sister and she wants to come see her. I wish you were closer and we would! If this little one takes after her big sister, you will have your hands full. LOL I am so excited to see pictures of her as she grows and see if she turns out looking just like Libby! I guess as far as the tail docking, I say go for it, only because LIbby's is docked and they'll look more alike! Hugs to you...kisses to Molly and little pipsqueak. I can't wait to hear what you name her! |
