AKC Registration How long should it take for our breeder to send us Missy's papers? We adopted her on 7/25. Thank you. |
It can take 6 weeks for the AKC to get papers done once they are sent for. It's normally faster. But not always. I have been on hold for a while now :) You should have them around 6 weeks after you got your puppy. If you don't I would call them and ask when they will have them. |
Thank you! I didn't realize it would take so long. It's only been about 6 weeks now. Have a great day! |
Is there any reason why you didn't get them when you got Missy? Unless the breeder was withholding them for proof of spay, I see no reason why she shouldn't have provided them to you at that time. |
Papers w/your Puppy? Most Breeders usually give you their Papers/Application for AKC. Registration at the time you purchase your Puppy? What did the Breeder tell You? Just curious why you did not recieve them?:confused:Is the Breeder withholding them until proof of Spayiing/Nuetering? |
Joey's breeder gave me lots of different documentation, but withheld the AKC number until I showed proof of neutering; this is common with many good breeders. After I sent proof, we got the information right away. |
