My Yorkie Is Sick :-( My 10 week old is sick and he went number 2 alot last night and this morining I wake up and he threw up some yellow liquid twice. I was sick 2 days ago with a very bad stomach virus, can puppies can get sick from humans?? Any help would be appreciated Thanks! |
I'm not sure about this, but I guess it might make sense. I would take him to the vet. |
I Would Take Him To The Vet Too. I Hope Hew Gets Better Soon :) |
I'd take him to the vet too. It might just be something he ate, but I'd check just to make sure. |
I seem to remember I read somewhere that Yorkies can catch certain things from humans. But I agree, he should go to the vet. Keep us posted. |
If he is still like that today, I'd take him to the vet. In the meantime, you better give him some nutrical because at that young age that will throw his sugar level off quickly. Is he drining water? If he won't drink water on his own, put it in a dropper and stick the dropper in the corner of his mouth (not the front). you don't even have to open his mouth to do this from the side. He also won't fight you on it. You don't want him to get dehydrated. Hope he is feeling better real soon! |
I'd take him to the vet. My mom went through this about 2 weeks ago, and I guess her dogs ended up with a flu type virus. The vet gave her some medicine and they were fine in a couple days. |
Since your puppy is only 10 weeks old you should take him to the Vet, they can dehydrate very quickly being so small and vulnerable. Just to be on the safe side. Hope it turn out to be nothing and gets better soon. |
I hope your puppy is okay but I would take him to the vet to be checked out. |
Yes, there are some viruses we humans can transmit to our doggies. I would to him to the vet ASAP with no options. You can't take the chance to loose him and by your discriptions he sounds like he is really bad. |
I would immediately take him to the vet. These aren't good signs at all. |
Did you go to the vet? It could be coccidiosis. How is he today? |
