Does Your Dog Hide When.... Does your dog hide when he gets poop stuck on his butt? I couldn't find Otis for a long time, even when I would call his name. I found him hiding under the sofa, and I had to pull him out. He was all scared, and I noticed he had a large piece of poop stuck on his hind leg! I felt so bad for him that I didn't even scold him. It made me love him even more! |
AWWW!!! Poor Otis.... Sammi does not hide though...She runs around the house like a mad woman til it falls off! Then you have to go on a doody hunt for the lil klinger... |
Teddy doesn't hide either. He runs around about 100mph with the look of fear in his eyes like get it off...get it off until I can catch him and give him a little hand. Sometimes I don't notice what's going on until he jumps into my lap with his little poo butt. The fact that he seems scared of his poo does concern me a little as I have never seen that in another furkid in my life. |
Poor Otis!!!! How could you not love him even more??? Poor baby!!!! Luigi goes outside, but this morning I was laughing sooo hard at him!! Here's why! He was pooing and usually never has a problem with one dangling or even going. But this morning- he did is usual stance, or whatever you would call it, and I actually heard him grunting! LOL!!! But still, nothing. While still in pooing position- he like pushed his front legs back towards his hind legs and before you know it, his legs are bent, grunting, and only on his hind legs!!! I was laughing sooo hard! He finally pooed, but then some was dangling. He kept going in circles, wiggling his little toosh, trying to get it off!!!! It finally came off, then he darted for the house!!!! I am sure I am not describing it as well as I saw it earlier- but it was quite a sight!!! |
No, Yoda just looks absolutely pathetic and sad, and tucks his tail BETWEEN his butt when he has a dingleberry. ;) He looks so adorable though when he does it, and of course we don't get mad at him... |
Awww Simon hides too! He runs from his pad to under the bed or the couch. It's almost like he is embarrassed and I always feel so bad. Hallie runs around like a crazy dog freaking out screaming. She is so dramatic about her bodily functions! |
Princess Chai gets so ashamed and she will just sulk and sit or walk along the wall. It's really pitiful! Hefner does the run around 100 mph trying very hard to outrun IT! :D |
oh, that is sooooo funny. Shelby did that when I only had her a couple weeks. I picked her up as she was going and moved her to the wee pad. (she was close but not right on it) She was sooooo mad at me! then she growled and stopped pooping, spun in a circle and ran under the couch with poop hanging from her bottom. she was very tiny then...we had to pick the couch up to get her. |
Gucci runs like a mad woman and rubs her body on the wall, etc. When I look at her or call her she looks down and runs away. I guess she feels ashame also. |
Preslee runs around at warp speed like she is trying to out run it. Then she hides when it finally comes off. |
Tinkerbell got some stuck on her today. It was wierd because she was in the middle of the yard just sitting there looking at me wierd with her head down a little bit. So I called and called her and she would not come. That kinda scared me so I went out to her, and she still wouldn't move! I picked her up and checked her out and saw it, once I got it off she was fine. I guess she was not gonna move with poo poo on her! |
Mine Does The Same Thing Or she Stays Still Or She Will Put Her Tail Down :( |

I never had to go on a doody hunt but I have had to cut doody hangers from his butt! That's why now I keep that area nice and short! |
:eyetearss Oh my gosh. We'll talk about anything here, won't we? No one is shy. Between poop, humping and whatever else. :D Baxter and Chloe don't hide. For some weird reason, it doesn't happen to Baxter, but it happens to Chloe more often than it should. And Baxter hair back there :) is longer than Chloe's. |
Gwen hides, but Skippy runs around like a mad man. When I finally find her it's bath time, and she likes that part. |
