It sounds like Hot Rod and Maggie are slowly, but surely, working at forming a life long friendship.

Poor little Hot Rod is jealous of his little sister. ;) I can totally sympathize with you since I have the total opposite her. Pebbles is the jealous one who shows her teeth, take away the toys and hurts Doodlebug on a regular basis. She is even so mean that she will take Doodlebugs toys and chew them up.:rolleyes: But like Hot Rod and Maggie they will play until they collapse or Doodlebug get hurt and this is every night, my house is like a mad house and its like clock work 8 pm every evening. They don't cuddle either, Pebbles will get up, possible show some teeth and move away from Doodlebug when he wants to cubble. :( I'm also hoping that Pebbles decided to get cuddlie but I doubt is since she is not overly cuddlie even with me. Now my Doodlebug is a total lovebug.:p

Maybe we should switch, I send you Pebbles and you give me Maggie and the snuggle bugs can be together and the little bullys can be together. Not sure if I would want both little brats since I have a feeling they both are a lot alike.;)

Back in July, my Lucy didn't talk to/look at/or like us for about 3 days when Pebbles came home. I just tried to pet them both and let them get used to each other. And, as someone mentioned, I had separate food & water bowls for each. Lucy finally turned back to more normal after about a week or so. They aren't 100% bonded, but they are working on it.
Now I have to work on Lucy giving Pebs kisses & Pebs biting at Lucy's tongue. It's pretty funny :) lol

Oh i am so glad to hear im not the only one!! Sorry, i know its alot to deal with,but you share my issue. Ava is 3yrs old and bowie is 3 minths old, he is always harassingher , biting her ears, tails, legs, snapping at her. Poor ava looks at me likez' why did you have to get another one" However, if she thinks bowie is in trouble or hurt, she runs to his aid, she wants to sniff him to make sure hes inone piece. Thats actually cute and when its sleepytime they secretly give kisses. Ihope bowie grows out of the bully stage. Good luck!

Hot Rod doesn't seem to be as jealous. He isn't going totally nuts when she is in my lap. He does jump up on the couch next to us but at least he is not pushing his way onto my lap. I know that there is hope, I just really didn't think it would take this long!

Today when I was asking them to sit and wait until I opened the expen, Maggie wouldn't sit so I didn't let them out, well, Hot Rod "yelled" at Maggie and "pushed" her! She did sit down after that. It was kinda funny in a weird way but it wasn't funny cause I know that Hot Rod was mad at her.

Dezi is 5 1/2 years and Cassie is 7 1/2 months. Unfortunately, Dezi is small and guarded. But never was with dogs. Until Cassie came. She is jealous of her new baby sister. Cassie is already bigger than Dezi, so if Cassie tries to play, Dezi is very hesitant now. They went through a phase when Dezi figured out (when Cassie was about 4 months) that she was small and wobbly and easy to knock over. Cassie would love the attention and was so willing to let big sister drop her and stand on her chest. Dezi looked like she conquered the world. The cutest thing was when Dezi would let Cassie up, she would wait no more than 5 seconds and do it again and again and again. But like all good things, it came to an end when Cassie got bigger and stronger, which happened like a month later. The play ended. Now they fight. :( Dezi wants to be left alone, Cassie wants to have the last word ......... I have never seen them snuggle :cry: Cassie is a bulldozer and Dezi likes her space. Oh well, they were supposed to be the best of friends. :idontknow But they sure are cute!
