LONG Haired Babies and PJ's?
 
Ok guys...what the heck do you do with your babies that have LONG hair like Tatum's (I'm talking hair that is basically touching the ground) when you want to put PJ's on them? I want so badly to put PJ's on Tatum this winter, but her hair is sooooo long, and it looks so silly with all that long hair when she wears PJ's :rolleyes: I just looks like a waterfall of hair underneath her, down by where the PJ's are open :eek: I tell you, I am so tempted to just chop her hair off so that she can wear PJ's LOL. Not SHAVE her down...but just trim her hair up short enough (which will be REALLY short compared to what it is now :eek:) to where it doesn't hang down everywhere when she is wearing her PJ's. Maybe I'm nuts, but I swear there are some PJ's out there, really cute ones, that I've found and I want to get them for her sooo bad, but it just looks totally ridiculous (IMO anyway :rolleyes:) with all this hair of hers. Geez...I'm so confused, I don't know what to do :p lol.

Shelby & Seymour wear pj's with long hair....... it don't bother them.... they actually act like they LIKE to have them on....... sure, their hair sitcks out and it can look a little silly...... but they ARE pajamas (and I think that I look silly in my Pj's, too!! :D)

...... just go ahead, buy those cute pj's...... I KNOW you can't resist!!! :p

If you're having a lazy day at home and you want to spend the day in PJs... do you fix your hair all nice and put on makeup or do you just lounge about all warm and comfy in your PJs?

Let the girl have her PJs, be warm and snuggly and maybe look a little silly, (in YOUR opinion, she could never look silly to me), and leave her hair alone! :p



Seriously though, I'm sure a little over spill of hair can't look that bad enough to give her hair a trim. I demand photographic evidence. :D

My Phoebe has the longest hair of the three girls, but I don't use pjs on my girls anymore because of that:aimeeyork I like nighties better:thumbup::thumbup:

I say, who cares what it looks like, if they are comfy and their hair doesn't matt from them.... GET THEM!!! LOL. Here's April and Nappy wearing theirs, I think the hair hanging down is cute :D These were taken last year when they were both in full coats. If you can get a silk fabric or liner for against their coat, it really makes a difference as far as the coat goes.

Mary Kay, that was sooo cute!! Brooke, I think they looked adorable, don't you??! Tatum would look like a little doll, too! :)

LOL - You're so right girl...I can't! :D Only thing is, there are about a dozen different ones I like, LOL :laugh: I am in sooo much trouble :p Stedman and Tatum definitely need some for when it gets colder here, because they always seem to freeze....especially my little Stud-Man, cause he is so darn skinny! Tate has more "insulation" if you know what I mean, LOL. Stedman has several pairs of PJ's, but I haven't bought any for Tatum since she was very little, and well, she's quite a bite chubbier now, LOL...and I don't know if her old PJ's are going to fit :eek: Stedman can still wear the PJ's he had when he was 6 months old :eek: BUT OF COURSE, he will be getting new ones too cause, he is my spoiled little guy and mommy wouldn't have it any other way :p

:lol tears Girl, OMG...you sooo crack me up LOL!!! :D No your right, when I am at home, I could CARE LESS what I look like when I am all snuggly and cozy in my PJ's :p It's just hilarious on Tate because her hair is sooo long and soooo thick, and it looks like there is something black (cause her hair is jet black) hanging down, growing underneath her belly, LOL!!! :laugh:

Thanks for your compliment on her though girl, you are always so sweet! :hug: Now as for the pics, I will have to take some with her "black waterfall" lol...cause I don't think I have any on my computer :p Only ones from when she was very young wearing her PJ's - and back then her hair wasn't long enough for you to even be able to tell :p

That is so funny you mentioned this because I was thinking about this issue today! Maxi has long hair and I really wanted to get PJs for him for colder nights and was also wondering how it would look on him. We have cute overalls but the hair at the back sticks out :D I was actually thinking to get PJs that are made with silk lining but still looking.

Ok MaryKay....first of all, those babies are just wayyyy too cute and I am going to have to come and steal them :p HAHA.

No, all joking aside, they look absolutely ADORABLE in their little "Poochamas!!" :D Honestly, I am beginning to think that TATE is the only one that looks silly in them with her hair LOL - cause your babies looked totally precious in theirs! Seriously though, maybe the problem is that I need to get them a little more "baggy" throughout her tummy/mid-section area. The last time I put a pair of PJ's on her (which was SEVERAL months ago) and she was in full coat, it just looked so silly but now I am beginning to think it was because the PJ's were too "fitted" and it made all of her long hair underneath look more obvious. I am starting to think that I may need to go up a size because her hair is just so super thick and if I get her "normal" size, all that long, thick hair of hers is going to make them fit even smaller/tighter.

Ok, now I think that I am beginning to make no sense what so ever, so I am just going to shut up :rolleyes: LOL. Honestly though, your babies are just soooo cute and I want them! :D :p lol.
