poor little pup, he really has some aggression toward the husband. Cant wait to see how everything turns out, i am sure he will be such a well behaved gentleman at the end. He is tooo cute! Love his little sweaters and rain coat :p

They just suggested adding garlic to their food to make it more appealing to them... I just read on here yesterday though that Garlic (and onion) can be toxic to Yorkies. Wonder if they gave bad advice, or if garlic isn't really bad for them.

That episode is REALLY good! I felt for the poor husband, bullied by a 2 pound Yorkie! Of course he didn't dress him up either lol! Victoria has such a wonderful ability to get inside dogs' minds and help them be understood. She has a much different approach then Cesar, if you notice, almost ALL of the issues with the dogs she deals with is the HUMAN....either not giving enough exercise or play or even mental stimulation. I loved her "it's me or the fat dog" episodes. I wish we had doggie pools around where I live, but *sighs* no luck unless I put in my own pool.

Onions cause bleeding issues in dogs like they do in humans. My dogs love garlic, but I cook with garlic all the time. I give them brewer's yeast tabs with garlic and they eat them like treats. I think garlic is ok as long as you don't let them have say a few cloves of it. But don't quote me on the amount lol. I believe she added the garlic so the Bailey would be more interested in eating his own food not off of mommy's fork. She also made a liver, garlic treat on the "It's me or the fat dog" episode that the beagle went crazy for....wish I knew her recipe, I'd like to make homemade liver treats, they're just so expensive where I live.

liver treats
 
I did a search for liver treat recipes not long ago and found quite a few from a simple google search. I don't see ay of the links saved on this computer, but you should be able to find them fairly easily.
