Rabbit Poo We have a few rabbits around our house and my Samson seems to find their poo appetizing. Any suggestions on how to keep him from eating it or how to maybe keep the rabbits away from our yard? The yard is open and we can't get it fenced in or anything. Thanks |
I have that problem with Ramsey except it is bird poo that he likes.. I have no clue how to stop it.. Maybe someone else can help us! |
Yes I have the bird poo thing also!!! But he doesn't go after it as much as when I first got him. Maybe the rabbit thing will fade too.....I hope!! |
I have this problem also... they go right for it don't they! And he'll fight ya when ya try to get him away from it. Must be quite the doggie delicacy... |
Oh yeah... the bird poop too,, He'll be all rolling in something,,and then I realize its bird poop" !! |
Ramsey can find it anytime and anywhere... He was digging in the grass the other day and I thought he was going after a bug but no it was bird poo that was deep in the grass. |
ooooo. No suggestions. Mine find the cat poo. I have the litter box up in the house but when the cat is outside she poops and tey always seem to find it. Yuck. |
Sorry I have no suggestions. In fact I could use some. We have a fenced yard and it doesn't stop the rabbits or the geese or the ducks. Mellie has a gourmet selection of poo and seems to enjoy them all. Mac just enjoys sniffing them. |
I would try to discourage this behaviour,I know it is hard but they can get parasites and bacterial infections from eating wild animal feces.Good luck, they do love it!! |
got the same problem, got a spraybottle , going to see if that helps !!!!! |
I let my neighbors dog out every day and I ALWAYS have to wait for him to eat the rabbit/squirrel poo before he will do his business and come back in. It is so funny the things people have in common on YT that they might feel funny talking to others about. |
I found a solution There is a plant called worm plant or something like that. If you plant it around your yard rabbits should stay out. They are alergic to somthing in the plant... I will have to ask agian to get the exact name of it.... They had something on the news about it last night. |
