Hey everyone.........it's been awhile since Rocco and I have been on. We've lurked some but no real activity. There for a while it seemed like every post turned into an arguement. Those are just flat stressful and I don't know about the rest of you but I don't have time for more stress in my life. LOL :) Anyway, I was wondering if some of you could offer some advice. My Rocco's hair for some reason seems to be tangling soooo bad lately. Am I doing something wrong? He is a little over a year old now so is it maybe that his hair is just getting thicker? Either way, does anyone have a quick and easy solution to the tangled hair? Thanks in advance! Shelly and Rocco |
Aww!! Rocco is adorable!! I hear people saying using a metal fine comb and comb them atleast once a day. There's also detangler shampoos out there you can try. I get Romeo groomed every other month or so, so keeping the coat short helps me. Hope others have good advice for you too. Don't abandon us here at YT, I know how it gets sometime. Just tell them to keep their negative comments to themselves and YT is only for positive feedback. |
Welcome back! How often are you bathing him? Baths that are too often or too infrequent can make their hair too oily or too dry. I make sure to use dog shampoo, plus a cream conditioner that I leave on for a few minutes before I rinse it out. Also, I don't brush them wet, I wait until they dry completely, and then I use a detangler (I use BabyDog grooming spray-smells like baby powder!), or if they're really bad, I confess, I use a spritz or two of Pantene leave-in conditioner. |
Hi there glad you are back, have you try coat handler conditioner?, or cowboy magic? that seems to help my Phoebe she has more hair than Shayna and Melody:p:aimeeyork:thumbup: |
