I don't think that she is pre-say a puppymill but she has quite a few dogs for one person. I looked at her older female/males and I wish I could take them. Izzy is 4lbs. and I can't say that I would breed her because I think it would be too hard on her because she reminds me of a puppy so much (and because she is mommy's lil girl :rolleyes:) But, I don't think breeding them at such a small weight is bad I just couldn't do it to my baby.

I fully understand...if someone don't want you visiting them and would only have the pup shipped, then one they either have a poor quality place...ie..a pup mill or its a scam. But to just label someone off from the looks or wording off there website is WRONG TO ME. Unless you personally know forsure.

I'm sorry I feel you are wrong. I have opened this site multiple times over this thread and especially the first page. I don't see any $$ in place of 's', maybe its your font in your computer system. Open someone else's webpage and see if you get the same thing.

Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkies) can be very stubborn but don't let them get the upper-hand. You have to be very firm with them and let them know right off who's the boss. I have made many long-lasting friends over the years. People locally call me "The Yorkie Lady". I believe that when you own a Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie) you have the Cadillac of pets.

Yorkies demand a lot of attention and affection. If you do not want that, then a Yorkie is not for you.

I hand-raise all of my puppies. My home is usually full of yorkie puppies, teacup yorkies, tiny teacup yorkies, all running around and playing. But, when yorkie playtime is over, yorkies all have their yorkies playpens to sleep in. That is for the yorkie safety and protection of them (yorkies) and you. Yorkies are very inquisitive and love to investigate everything. So for Yorkie protection they need a place where they can be Yorkie safe. After all you can't watch them (Yorkie) every Yorkie minute of every single Yorkie day. I suggest a baby (yorkie) playpen (mesh) you can find them at discount stores such as Wal-Mart and K-Mart, or even at garage sales, rummage sales, or flea markets.

All of my yorkie puppies are AKC Registered. When you purchase my Akc yorkie pup, Akc teacup yorkie pup, Akc tiny teacup pup, he or she will have their registration papers that you will need to fill in the blanks and send in to AKC. Also they (yorkie) will have a health certificate from our veterinarian. But when you receive him or her ( akc teacup yorkie, akc yorkie, akc tiny teacup yorkie) it is good practice to have your veterinarian check the akc yorkie pup, akc teacup yorkie, akc tiny teacup yorkie. If, for some reason, your akc yorkie, akc teacup yorkie, akc tiny teacup yorkie, pup has a problem we can exchange or refund. Sometimes long plane rides can make the yorkie, akc teacup yorkie, akc tiny teacup yorkie pups scared or cause motion sickness. This should be expected.
After all they are just babies.

All of our puppies are hand raised. At any given time, my home is full with the joy that a litter of Yorkies brings. My dogs sleep in Yorkie playpens in order to keep them safe while they wait to be adopted by a loving parent like you! Yorkies are famously inquisitive, so to keep their curiosity in check while they become accustomed to your home, it’s a good idea to corral them in a playpen at night once you get your puppy home. These are readily available in the infant section of all department stores.

All of our Teacup, Tiny Teacup, and other Yorkies are American Kennel Club-certified. By purchasing a Yorkie from us, you will receive along with your dog all of the necessary registration papers. All you need to do is fill in the forms and return them to the AKC. As an extra precaution, it’s a good idea to bring your Yorkie to your veterinarian for a checkup. If, for some reason, the vet finds a problem with your Yorkie I’d be happy to provide you with another, or refund your money if you prefer. Note that if you are sending your Yorkie on a long plane ride, he or she may become scared or ill as a result of motion sickness – this is to be expected, and will not last long.

I believe she also does have high prices, but a lot of yorkie breeders do. Some set their prices high to weed out the bad owner. My little boy is coming from a great breeder, her prices are fair......she sold him and he was taken back to her in a really awful condition just recently. He is now gaining his weigh and hopefully going in for his neuter this week. I am sure when his breeder set his price, and asked all the right questions she felt happy with his new family. I'm sure she never guess he would be sent back in this condition.
Some set low, and they are called "BYB" etc, some or set high and they still are called names. What is it that we as buyers need to look for, because it seems very double standard here? I love my little boy already and I have only seen pictures, yes his hair has been shaved down, and he has had a rough couple of months, but does it really come down to the price of a puppy. Because basically I am only paying for his medical treatment to get better. Also with this breeder, I called her up wanting a male from a certain male she had and they were all sold so this baby is my mircle baby from the male that I asked about. And I am loving it.

I've been to this web site before and when I saw the thing about the 32oz Yorkie getting ready to be a mother, I almost puked :( :mad: :thumbdown

Price should never be the way you determine a responsible breeder from a backyard breeder. I imagine many bad breeders sell in all ranges. Some people think they are getting a better dog if they pay more, and this is not necessarily the case. Most people don't realize you can get a wonderful representation of the breed from a show breeder for the same price many backyard breeders and pet shops sell their puppies for.

This must be the best-kept secret there is. If show breeders were to charge what their dogs were really worth, meaning that they would sell them to just anybody, I'm bet they would be the price of a nice little car. Thank goodness show breeders are picky and aren't into breeding for profit.
