when do yorkies reach their peak weight?? when do yorkies reach their peak weight?? at 5 or 6 months?? and maybe only a lb from 6 months to a year? my little guy I swear gained 1 lb in just 2 weeks between 8 weeks-11 weeks which I guess makes sense. |
I think they stop growing size wise around 6 to 8 months. After that they continue to fill out with alittle more weight up to around a year old.:) |
Yes my Bigos also gained like 3 pounds in a few weeks. He is 5mths now weighing at 6.5pounds...big little guy. His father is 4 pounds and his mother is 10 pounds. |
thanks!!! good to know. the mother of ted was 8lbs and the father 5 lbs. I hope my guy is a perfect 7lbs lol. but its ok, i'll love him no matter what! i'll just have to start lifting weights b/c he loves being carried!! |
Thanks for starting this thread! I was wondering the same thing myself. First time Yorkie owner, so I was kinda concerned. |
Lilly was like... 8 lbs 2 months ago. She now weighs 9 lbs and she's 1 year & 2 months. |
