I almost shut off the computer and then thought I'd just read a couple more posts first and I'm sure glad I did. I've been having a VERY stressful day with the horrible banging around the guy is doing putting in our wood flooring and the dogs were stressing all day as well. Right now I'm a mess, but after reading your beautiful and heartbreaking post I just don't have anything to really complain all that much about now. Your such and inspiration to me and I'm sure everyone else. Your bows are beautiful. Maybe you could take your business on the road during the summer months and go to all the dog shows and such. I think you hit the jack-pot, I really do. I pray God to heal your back so that you can continue to be independent and be able to keep your babies with you. Warm hugs to you. |
Hi I am a newbie and just wondered if you have any little bows with footballs on them. My son plays high School football and I take lil Gizmo to the games. I thought it would be cute to support the team.... |
You sound like a very strong person. Good luck to you on your future. I hope everything works out for you. |
Hope you well with your medical status. My sister is suffering from something similar to what you are so I can appreciate how much pain you must be in. Your bows are beautiful. Just pm'd you. |
degenerative disc disease I was also diagnosed with this and so understand the pain... depression, when you can no longer do the things you so took for granted when we were younger. In October of 2003 I had a fusion of L3 & L4 with pedicular screws and rods. That so helped with the leg pain.. but will still also have this pain in other areas of the spine for life. Let's pray there will be further medical advances that will help us with minimal invasion in the near future. I wish I could come up with something good I could do. I have never been very crafty... I also have been off work for awhile and totally understand the less income issue. My husband also has heart health issues....hmmm.. whoever said the older years were golden must of been dreaming! lol I can say though that getting our Yorkie has so made us chuckle and enjoy life in so many ways! She has been very therapeutic for both of us! Your bows are very beautiful and you are a great inspiration for others going through the same kinds of things! God Bless! Cheryl & Mandy |
Your post brought tears to my eyes. I'm sening you hugs and prayers. |

Ohhh no ..... Dawn ... wow I can't believe what I am reading ..... my Hubby has the same thing (DDD) and after 16 years of being in the Military they are letting him go .... ..... we are moving to the US and once there he will have his surgery (fusion of the spine) and hopefully that will take the pain away at least a little .... he has constant numbness in his legs and falls over walking ..... :( ... (Nerve Damage) and the Painmeds keep him up for days and days until he is a Zombie and passes out and sleeps 2 days straight .... :( Anyway .... I love your Bows ... I posted pic's of Maya in her set of 8 yesterday and I can't wait for my new Order to come ..... :D .... and I will soooo buy them for future GE Buddies ..... :D I hope you can manage the pain alright ..... I kinda know what you are dealing with on a daily base ...... :( |
Oh Weird, my husband has been going to UK hospital here in KY and they have yet said what was wrong with his back. They do make comments about being born with a hole in his spine that never closed up. Then they go off on his military career "jumping out of planes" and such. He now has a C6-C7 & C4-C3 in his neck that is basically not doing what it should they discussed neck surgery, but said it could possibly put him in a wheelchair. Maybe this is what he has, I'm going to have to ask the doctor when we go back. Does this cause you to fall or your legs to give out from the pain? And you can't move your neck on arm at times? |

Good for you. I totally understand what you are going through. I have Fibromyalgia and haven't worked for about 1yr now. I keep hoping to find a doctor that will fix all this again. But yesterday I went to a doctor that told me " there isn't a cure, you need to accept what you have" How do you do that when its taken your life away. I decided when I had to quit last Aug to try to do something on my own time. I was making blankets for my dog and a few dresses and decided to do that. I have added jewelry to my line as well. Now I'm selling to trainers and a few vendors. I'm working on my website. But there are days I can't even do that. So hang in there it sounds like you are doing good. This is a great place to cheer you up when you need it. The support is wonderful. Good Luck. |
Hi, I was trying to order some bows from your website. I am confused......I didn't understand what to do to order them. It says to order prints??? I am sorry to bother you. They are so sweet, I want to order 8 of them. Can you tell me what to do at the end to order them. I also want them to be a barrette form. Thanks and good luck with the website they are beautiful little bows. |
That is so great to hear that YT has had such a positive impact on your life. :mademyday It's like a big extended family here, we may argue amongst ourselves from time to time, but the members here care and support for one another too. I am sorry to hear about your health issues you are dealing with. Having a family member who has faces the same issues, I realize what a struglle it can be at times. Keep your chin up and know that you WILL eventually find your groove, learn what to change and be just fine. Until then, you have alot of people here to lean on. :love-hug3 |
