Great disposable potty pads! I usually use the washable potty pads but like to have the disposable on hand. When I picked up Suri, her breeder showed me some that work amazing and are a great deal…so of course I tried them out. They are $9.99 for 50 at Kmart! They are Hartz "training academy" puppy pads. They are nice and thick and seem to not only hold more but seem to control odor better. The others are so thin the pups scratch holes in them and they end up everywhere. They are woven and last. Had to share, because I was very surprised. :) (I'm sure you can find them else where) |
Thanks a lot! I will check K Mart out. |
Thanks for posting this! Those pads are usually so expensive. I haven't ever used them for training, but for some reason, Madison has taken to pooping in the house during the night~ maybe if I put a pad where he usually goes, he'll eventually learn to use it:confused:. At least when he goes, it's somewhere that we won't accidentally step in it in the dark:rolleyes: Which Kmart did you go to? I hate that there isn't one in PD! |
seems like wal-greens also carry them Training Academy Leak-Proof Training Pads For Dogs & Puppies | Hartz | Walgreens |
Fred's also carries them. They are 9.99 there also. I use them for Diva and love them. |

Walmart carries them also, but they are like $7 for 30 or something like that. :) So I would say walgreens is your best bet . They have a Kmart in DHS but that is a bit of a drive for you. :) |
you can buy crib liners and online for a really good deal; they are practically the same thing as pee pee pads. i bought 600 for $120 dollars, and it was free shipping and handling. at the moment, i dont remember what the exact website is called but i have it jotted down somewhere on my desk. if anyone is interested, pm me =] take cares all! :animal-pa |
Thanks, I usually buy them at walmart (32 for $6.97) but this is even less. I tried buying the crib ones but for some reason Lola would not go on them. I think the dog ones have some kind of scent that attracts them. morrislaz |
I went to washable ones about a year ago and have saved so much money. They are very absorbant and easy to clean! Also better for the environment! Valethics.com! I wash them once a week! |
