Confessions good for the soul I know you guys do this, so fess up. Do you hide or clean up something your pup's done so your significant other doesn't know? My hubby loves Trace, but he goes nuts if Trace has managed to avoid detection and carried his favorite kitty treat from the litter box into the den. Now I am not crazy about poo all over the house either, but just as soon skip the lecture on keeping the litter box clean and the fact that MY dog (he's mine when he's bad) had cat poop everywhere. Sooooo before I leave the house in the morning, I perform poop patrol and get rid of the evidence. And don't worry your secrets are safe with us ;) |
I know I do!! Ramsey like to hide and poop, so he can save it for later.. So I search the house up and down before my mom finds it. |
Once when Ellie Mae was little she peed on the bed and I swear you would have thought it was a 50 lb dog that did it...lol. Before hubby got home I had the bed all cleaned up and washed and he was never the wiser..... ;) |

Yup - When I find some pee or poop around the house and my bf hasn't seen it yet - I get my butt into high gear to clean it up and get rid of any odour or evidence! I don't need to hear him bitch either. |
When I went to my parents' house, before Coco was potty trained, I used to do pee and poop patrol. One time I missed and Coco had pooped RIGHT INFRONT OF MY PARENTS' BEDROOM DOOR!! WAY TO GO COCO. Got me in trouble. Well not really, my mom is really cool about it but I know she's just being nice. So occasionally when she used to pee on the floor, if my mom was walking by, I would just put my foot over it until she was out of sight. At which point I would clean it up fast. :p |
Jim is pretty good about the dogs havign accidents NOW but he wasn't always. Katie use to poop on her couch on the SAME EXACT SPOT at every chance she could. And this would just piss Jim off to no end! So when we would come home from work (we come home at the same time because he picks me up at my job) I would run upstairs before him and quickly clean up any and all accidents and he had no clue! FINALLY I potty trained Katie and she hasn't had any accidents in months - she's such a good little potty girl. :D Codie was a BREEZE to potty train so there was so trouble with him. |
I am laughing so hard now!!! I can just picture myself on my daily scan and so forth...when I go home tonight (and scaning, I will be thinking of you all)...can't say too much though b/c ya never when this might come back to haught me!!! he-he-he-he |
I did this the entire time I was staying at my grandparent's house with Tuffy. Tuffy had just realized that he could mark so he wanted to mark EVERYTHING. I caught him twice in my grandparent's bedroom peeing on their rug! I just had to hustle to clean it up before anyone noticed. He probably had about 6 "incidents" while we were there before it finally dawned on me to keep him on a leash and by my side the rest of the trip. He hated me for it but at least my grandparents thought he was an angel. ;) |

When Josie was still a pup, she would unravel the toliet paper and make a big mess. Peter (Dad) would get so mad at her and put her outside. She would have to stay outside for an hour or so. My poor little butterball would just cry & cry. It would be so hard to have to hear her that after a few times the kids and myself would run in the house before Peter would come in and clean up the mess before he would walk in and see it. ;) We like to refer to it as team work *wink* |
toby is my dog when he is bad too....... you guys are going to laugh histerically, but i have FRAMED MY DOG!!!!! (no i didnt poop on teh carpet)....... ok, my fiance was in the habit of leaving clothes all over the floor, and when toby was little and wasnt house trained he would poop inside, a couple times i just "moved" the poop from the carpet to ON TOP of my fiances clothes and left it for them to find (my toby never saw me move or achnowledge that the poop was there, once my dirty deed was done i left the room and didnt go in there....... it in no way inhibited tobys potty training and i would like to think he was trained pretty early (6 or 7 months :D )........... anyways, so my fiance would come home nad find poop on his clothes and he would get sooooooo mad and my comment would of course be "then pick up your clothes", well, there arent nearly as many clothes on the floor now, hardly any in fact :D |
You go Orinskye! Ya gotta train all of em! Not just the dogs! My greyhound once pulled a long run with his nails out of our Berber carpet. Just one week after we moved into our new house. I knew this would get him banned from the house so I sewed and weaved so that you could never tell it happened and nobody ever did! |
HaHaHa this reminds me of when I was still at my parents. I had my chihuahua Chiquita and my Poodle named Albino well I always managed to clean his accidents before my dad would notice. UNTIL one day we were eating breakfast and Albino goes and stands right in front of my dad and pooped right by his foot. I was so embarrassed I didn't know what to do my dad just looked at me lol. Smiles, :) Myra |
