Funny but sad at the same time So last night my roomate and I went out on our patio to chit chat with some neighbors, that had a little doggie as well. Coco came out there with us but I closed the glass screen door behind me. I usually don't. I leave it open so she can go in and out. Well she suddenly decided to go in and ran into the glass door :( It was soooo sad...but funny at the same time. She learned though, after that she would stick her paw ahead of herself when she got near it to see if it was open or shut. :p |

LMAO........ i will never forget the time that toby was diong hotlaps and ran smack into the glass slider, needless to say he doesnt do hotlaps through the balcony anymore :p i htought he was going to break the door :eek: |
:) Preslee has done this also. Its hard not to laugh. I think the funniest thing that my dogs have done like this is Recon. When I moved into this house I didn't have a sliding door but we put one in so that I could have easier access to the hot tub and back yard instead of going all the way through the house then out the side door and then around the back of the house. Well when we were putting it in and doing the finishing touched we had it open all the time. Then when we finished, I shut the door but Recon was used to being able to run out and chase birds out of the yard without having to have the door opened for him. He didnt see the glass cause I had just cleaned it and he went running after some birds and WHAM!!!! Right into the glass. SInce then I dont keep the glass as spotless. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to pee my pants. But I felt horrible for laughing like that at him. :) |
I know I felt horrible but I rubbed her head and she didn't whine or anything. No bruising or pain=laughter because it was funny. Left a great impression with the new neighbors who were just saying how smart she was for being potty trained and knowing so many tricks...oh well |
Aww poor Coco..why on earth did you make the glass so clean...lol..there are puppies at play! Funny story. |

It is hard not to laugh isn't it?? I've known people who put vinyl clingy stickers on their doors so their kids or dogs wouldn't run into them. Me, I never have that problem. Mine are french doors and besides, I can barely see out the bottom row of panes cause of these strange puppy nose shaped prints that keep appearing on them. Hmmmm, what could that be?? |

Awww poor Coco! Simon did that once too. Believe me once is all it takes. She won't do that ever again. Now he sticks a paw out to see if the door is there. Then he rubs his wet nose all over it ;) |
That is funny, but sad,,, I had this too,, The cat came creeping out from under the couch,, and I think Bailey was totally unaware that he was even under there, so he flys off the couch for the attack,,and as hes running he runs head first into the footstool.. he then Yipes,and turns and looks at me, then to the cat,, like " who did that?" I was cracking up,,but then had to go baby him. :rolleyes: |
