Does anyone have German Sheherds?
 
I was just curious to see if anyone had a german shepherd with their yorkie because i think it is soooo cute when people are like whoa you have a 2 lb yorkie and a 90 lb german shepherd!!!??? but they totally love eachother and even though their sizes are so different they still play!! But he has learned to be really soft with her :) i had to get mad at him a few times haha

I had a lab/shepard mix and he was awesome with the yorkies. He weighted 120 lbs and was so gentle our Yorkie Mandy would sleep on his back!

I do not Own a german shepherd but i Take care of one. I take him for walks with my yorkie and i Bring her to my cottage with me and my yorkie and she Practically lives at my house. It is very cute and I get alot of comments about them!

my best friend has a german shepard and im getting a yorkie soon and my friend said they are going to have to meet up and play, eek

yea they are really sweet and gentle dogs the only time they get mean is if they are tryin to protect their owner

yea they are awsome i love them we have had german shepherds since i was little and they are so loyal

haha that is so cute!! yea ours sleep together too and when we go outside to play Yogie (the german shepherd) always protects his little sister its so cute!

my friends german shepard who the family raised and was 13 or so years old, killed one of their yorkies last Summer.

Raja is the white shepherd and Bristol is the black and tan. They are not mine they are the people’s that I work for, Lily plays/bugs them every day.

haha that is too cute!! thats exactly how canella is...she swears she is a big dog too she goes off barking and trying to play when the Yogie and smokie play! smokie is my parents gernam shepherd

Yes we have a 110 pound German Shepard and a 3 pound Yorkie. Neo is very gentle with Onni. It is very cute when she stands on him. His nose is longer and bigger than she is.

I don't but my girlfriend did. Two huge GS, one male, one female(120lbs) and
little Tasha 6lbs. They lived and played together for 13yrs. Never a problem.
3 Standard poodles too. She did rescue work for years. They all just got
along. I was always amazed at that. I guess they just know who loved them.

Ivan is a sweetie when it comes to the little ones. He knows how big he is. Skeeter (the puppy) uses him to as a step stool to get up on the couch. They are great dogs!

We had a German Shepard and a Chihuahua when I was a kid. Its funny, but the Chi ruled the roost!! Both were great dogs.

But, I have also gotten many calls from people wanting another Yorkie because their German Shepard killed the Yorkie.

I have a Boxer and 4 yorkies.....1 mid-sized mixed breed and 2 Chis.....They are all good together...The female chi runs the show...

How cute! We are thinking of getting a bigger breed dog too, its nice to know it CAN work:)

I never leave Onni and our GS Neo alone together; not because Neo would purposely hurt her, but because he is so big (110 pounds) he could hurt her with out even knowing it.

I have little Wiz at 4 months old and a 2 yr old German shepherd Karma . She keeps Wizzy warm and get along just fine . Dogs do not know how big or small they are ..they just are .. and that is what makes a dog , any dog , so special .
