Oh My... Loose Dog!!! I am now catching my breath. We were on the back patio when my hubby said... "get Shelbs & Seymour and get inside." Walking about 2 feet from our patio was a stray Pit/Boxer mix looking dog.:eek::eek::eek: It was very anxious as it watched me hussle the Yorkies inside. It went away after awhile and we went back out........ apparently it heard us and it came RUNNING towards our house....... so back in we went. After securing Shelby & Seymour in the house, I went out the garage door and seen it on the other side of the house, so I started walking that way (we were going to try to see if it had an ID on it) and all of a sudden I heard a noise and it had ran around the house and SNUCK up behind me. OMG...... it scared the bejeevers out of me. :shocked7q I quickly went inside. It has now gone.... but that dog was up to NO GOOD...... he deliberately snuck up behind me (probably looking for Shelbs & Sey). It looks like no patio time for us for awhile. :( Why can't people take care of their dogs and keep an eye on them....... especially dogs like this with reputations for violence (someone may shoot him thinking that he is going to attack...... and maybe he is just looking for his owner). If I find out who he belongs to.....they are in for a LONG lecture..... whether they like it or not! |
You sound just like us, run honey pick the girls big dog coming:eek::p so glad that nothing bad happen:aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
That is scary  |
sounds awful! Glad you are all safe inside! |
That would have scared me to death too. I hate even going to the vets and sitting out in the waiting room with people that have dogs as big as horses. They don't even try to control them and let them waunder around on their leashes. I just hold my breath if one walks up to us because you can't even know what one might do. Hope you find the owner. |
Glad you were able to rush them inside. There is a pit bull that roams the street we just moved to. I know it belongs to someone on the street, we just can't figure out who!:confused: The poor thing looks like it just had a litter and is roaming around in 120 degree weather! poor pup. |
I'm so glad you acted quickly and Shelby and Seymour are okay. That is scary! Have you seen him again, today? |
I would call the dog catcher to come and pick him up! That way he's off the streets and won't hurt anyone or anything, and he'll be secure too. |

But it is a good reminder....... you may have your Yorkie in a x-pen, fence, or on a leash...... but it doesn't prevent a stray from wandering in your space! :animal-pa |
Im glad you got ur furbabies in the house in time!! Thank god! :) |
Scary. Glad you and the babies were ok. |
