My humpy little puppy! My innocent adorable :littleang Doodlebug is humping EVERYTHING! My foot, the pillow, blanket, table leg, laundry basket, stuffed animals, if its in site he's gotta give some love:rolleyes: Today he decided to try to mount Pebbles which did not go over at all with her :grin2: He's only almost 19 weeks old and the vet will not neuter until he's 6 months. So for now we have been stopping him or using the spray bottle. But I'm getting exhausted from all of this humpity humpity! If it's not my 19 and 22 year old sons :shocked7q acting wacked over girls NOW it my :littleang. I need a :beermug::beermug::3plane::island2::yelrotflm |
Just saw this and wanted to say I too have a little boy that HUMPS .. Check out the video that was posted from the YORKIE TALK TEXAS MEETUP in WACO TEXAS.. The little boy doing the humping is my boy... Im proud of him yes but not for humping and we have tried everything... Hopefully he will grow out of it.... He also marks everything.. We love our belly bands... He marked peoples feet to every single chair to ever spot of pee if a pup peed he marked over it.. It was hilarious he sure keeps me busy! I use command words... NO HUMP NO MARK and it works but in a crowd of people at a meetup I AM NOBODY HE IGNORED ME:rolleyes: |

I pray that he doesn't start marking! Then I will truely lose my mind....... |
Aw, this behavior is normal and very powerfully driven by hormones - so it's very instinctual for him to do this, and very difficult for him to control until he's neutered. Both of my guys still have their lover dogs - post-neutering - and many (if not most) male dogs do still exhibit some humping afterwards. We let it be since our babies don't ever bother humans about it, just their stuffed lover dogs. Personally, I think they're allowed their dates. ;) |
It wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't trying to "date" my foot! :yelrotflm |
