Oh my goodness! I have been so intent on programming and such I didn't even know this hurricane existed! Talk about having on's head in the sand!!

I pray everyone will be safe and not get a lot of damage. Now I have to go look at the weather station.

Looks like, from what I saw on the weather channel just now you may be getting a lot more than just rain and wind. They think it's turning and coming on up your way.

I heard on the radio this am that Fla residents got a break this time.
Thank the good Lord your all ok. Only wind damage so I hope it's
not too bad for those who got hit with the wind.

Waiting for the noon news to come on. Will know more about what is going on in the Jacksonville, Fl area. We were told this morning, there would be sunshine, and rain, sunshine, then more rain. Right now it's beautiful out there. Real sunny. We may have to watch out for the tornados, and flooding later. :hands: :hands: :hands: :hands:

I heard from my Florida-based son that there is a tropical depression that is starting to look suspicious on the tail of Fay. The season isn't over yet. This is the son that lost EVERYTHING to Charley and Ivan. Work, home, car you name it. We are praying hard.

I hope everyone stays safe. My 8 yr old daughter was watching the weather channel and saw all the coverage about Fay and was worried about tornados hitting here so she slept in bed with us last night. (she is very afraid of storms)
When she gets home we are gonna let her call her uncle Dennis thats in Daytona because shes been worriied about him

After much preparation, everything was just some wind and rain, I think in any given summer afternoon storm, would have rained more that it did yesterday, but I much rather have it this way, after Andrew, Floridians don't take any chances.
The new school year was scheduled to start yesterday, but due to the weather ,schools did not open,( many happy kids here in our area) I guess they will open tomorrow(even more happy parents then).

I live in Tampa, Fl and we got a "Storm Day" today, and there isn't even a drop of rain yet. Thankfully we got lucky once more.

The season has just started and they predicting 17 more.:eek::eek:

Saw on the news today flooding in Texas worse than what Fay is doing.
Are you near it? Hope not.:eek:EEK is me, so scared of storms.
