the 300 or shipping cost was alot. I'm going to try again because I do remember she was just filling in for the day. I get 280 for $49 at Walgreens and no shipping of course but Crystal is getting older and using more so I'll give them a call again. thanks |

Here's the direct link to the pads in case she couldn't find them again. http://www.shieldhealthcare.com/shop...ProductID=6047 |
we order from eBay also, $12.99 for 200 , which comes out to just over 6 cents each. Cant get much better then that ! Much thanks to whoever suggested eBay, what a bargain! I think they will be getting them all the time as they are 'seconds' but they still work out ok. Shipping is a different price in different parts of the country but it only cost me $12.96 to ship here, for 400 count and thats still a bargain.. |
But do remember new puppy owners when you get a new puppy to get the real pee pee pads a few times , that have the scent of urine on them. After she knows where to go change to the less expensive ones. To tell you the truth one "real" would be enough ( I think they come in packs of 8 at petsmart) and then just rub a little of the one it pees on to the clean less expensive one to use next. Alot in this thread are "real" and some are not but the quality in all I think?? are pretty much the same. |

Junebug, I put the site in my "favorites" so I have it when I need it. You know what you could also go to the 30 x 30 ( 10 pack which will really give you 20 if you cut them in half) down to .12 cents a piece. When the large ones are on sale at the drug store, I always get them and cut them in half but I would not do that with a puppy because they might find it a "good time" to pull the stuffing out or choke on it. Also new puppy owners who have never used a pee pee pad before it is a good idea to buy a cheap FLANNEL lined plastic tablecloth at a dollar store or somewhere and put it under the pad - sometimes their aim is not too good. Also for those of you with males take an empty plastic bottle(if they lift their leg) and fill it with stones and put it in the middle of the pad. Very sm. bottle to start with and larger as it grows. E-bay is still the best but sometimes you cannot get them there I guess. |
You know where else you can get cheap wee wee pads? hospitals. that's what they use under the beds. I just got a whole lot of wee wee pads off a friend of mine who is an EMT and asked the doctor at the hospital he works at. |
^^ HAhahha!! My aunt just had a baby and stole a whole bunch of those from the hospital for Otis!! |
