Our bank does this too and so does the drive-thru at the local convenience store. My dogs get sooo excited when we drive up to the window. Of course, here in Florida there are a lot of retired people with small dogs so I think it is really nice. My dogs are really funny about accepting a treat from another's hand so I have to hand it to them. They won't even accept a treat at the vet's unless I give it to them. Are there other dogs that do that too?

We have a ton of places here that do treats. McD's even does it! I go there for coffee sometimes-and Ace and Lizzie get treats!

LOL i work for a bank and we give or customers treats for their furbabies... i bring Peyton Savannah in all the time and they want to spoil her on my off days too...LOL We think the furbabies are kids as well. Hehehe :D

I actually take my dog right into the bank....if people can bring their rotten, smelly noisy kids into a public space then I can bring my little girl. I take her everywhere, clothes shopping, the bank, the convenience store...everywhere but grocery shopping....I banned Walmart cause they wouldn't allow me to bring her in.

I love hearing stories of places welcoming our beloved little ones!
My bank always does that too, but we never give them the milkbones, we save those for the big dogs at home (what can I say, I am very picky about treats) - ha :cool:
My bank also gets VERY upset if we come inside and do NOT have the babies! It is funny...I wish more places were that way!

BTW...the story about the soft treat...wow! That is great!!! How many places go out of their way for dog treats to begin w/....but to give special treats! That is just wonderful!

I always take them because it makes them feel good and I don't want to hurt their feelings, but I don't give them to my dogs.

thats so funny you bring this up....everytime we go through a drive through no matter what kind bandit comes to my window and stands there all handsome wanting a treat, he got a treat one time from a drive through when we stopped to get a pop and they gave him a treat so from that point on he gets dissapointed if he doesnt get one. but almost all drive throughs of all kinds give dog treats out lol.

After seeing the picture of your furbaby, I can understand how they'd want to give little Bandit a treat. Who could resist???

When I go to the bank, me and Destiny go inside because she is well known there. The girls love her and always have to hold her and give her a treat. They will even break up the treat in tiny pieces because they know Destiny likes small bites. Spoiled, no, not at all, lol.:rolleyes:
