Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone else has a baby that grew after 1 year old? Paisley is 15 months and I swear she's still growing. Sometimes you don't realize how much they've grown when your around them 24/7. Lately, it seems like she all of a sudden caught up to Trixie's size. She is just a tad shorter in length and height but I swear she feels heavier. This girl can eat, hehehe! However, she stilll looks so skinny. I wonder what her secret is, lol! :p I'm not sure what she weighs now but her last vet visit she was about 4 lbs. I swear she's heavier now and that was only a couple months ago. I was just curious to see how many others had babies that grew after 1 year old.

I hear all the time about many stopping at 6 months but this is definately not the case for her. However, Trixie at 6 months was almost 5 lbs. She was nice and chunky and now she's almost 3 years and weighs a tad over 4 lbs. She's very lean now. She needs to fatten up in my opinion but she's so darn hyper. :cool:

Just rambling now and curious to hear about anyone elses little ones. :D

Lucy continued growing until just a month ago so she didn't finish until 15 months. She went from 4 to 5.2 lbs. I think she is finally done :)

Good question there Dina, My Phoebe and Melody seems like the stop growing by the year, but Shayna don't know about that girl :p she is piggy pig though so will see:rolleyes:

I guess we're not alone then. :D This girl just loves her food. :p I swear she could easily eat all day long. Sometimes I watch her and its like she can't make up her mind on whether to eat or play. The little turd will sometimes take a toy to the dish and make it squeak, drop it and take a bite, then make it squeak again and so on. :cool: She is so darn silly. :D

You just have to love those piggie wiggies, lol! Paisley is a piggie about all food. Pia is a major piggie about treats and Snoot and Trixie don't seem to care as much about any food. They enjoy their treats but they don't overdo it like the other two. It's so funny how they're all so differen't. ;)

I got 3 of my girls at close to a year old and they all grew until they were about 1 1/2. :D
Angel was 3.5 lbs. at a year old and she is now 6 lbs. :eek:
Candy was 2.75 lbs. at 11 months ...she is now a year and 4.3 lbs. She isn't finished growing yet.
Princess was 2.5 lbs. at a year old. She is now almost 3 lbs.
We won't talk about Kissy :2pig: ;)

If you had her spayed, she will probably gain a little weight too! :)
Just think...the sisters will be able to share all their clothes this way!! :D

Hi'ya Miss Linda ;) I think you have some little piggies at your house too, lol!! :D I love being able to have Trixie and Paisley share clothes but since Pia is over 3 years I don't think she'll be growing more anytime soon, hahaha! However, I think she has gained some weight recently. I switched foods and she seems to like it much more. :thumbup:


Paisley is spayed and so are my others. Funny you brought that up because she gained a whole pound a month after being spayed. Her belly is so fat but I just love it so much. :p

Lacy grew after a year. I think she was about 6.5lbs at a year and is closer to 8lbs now and perfect weight for her frame.

You are not alone!

Wrigley was just a tad over 3lbs at almost a year. Our vet didn't think she would get over 4-4 1/2 lbs MAX!
Well she's two now and weighs 5lbs 15oz and she's not even a good eater! She is the worst eater of the bunch!

Camden who is 2 1/2 yrs old. was 5lbs even when we got her in April and she has fattened up to 5lbs 9oz now!

AprilLove gained 3/4 lb from the time she was one year old up to now (2 1/2) She hasn't gotten bigger, just chunkier, ;):)

She's about the same age as Feather and she has grown so much since 11 months til now. She now weighs 3 lbs and I'm having to watch her diet very carefully cause the vet says her knees are getting bad. For so long I had to beg her to eat then after she was spayed she turned into a piglet

Chachi grew 2 lbs at a yr and a half Jewels was done growing at 7 mos. I think they are just all different on their growth rate

Ginger and Bernie both grew after one year. Bernie was one when we got him and just a tad smaller than Ginger. Now he is definitely her BIG brother. :)

Ginger, at one year, fit very nicely into my bike basket. By two, she was way too much dog for that basket!:D
