I used to breed parakeets about a year ago. I loved those feathered freind. They provided me with beautiful babies and lots of fun. I had about 40 at one time. I also breed finch. I had to give them up because they were a lot of work on a daily basis and my family hated them in the winter because i brought them in for the whole season. They would start chirping about at 5:00Am and that just drove them nuts. I miss them so much they were a big part of me too. Here are some pictures.

I used to have a cockatoo. I inherited it when my grandpa passed away cause the bird hated my gramma. I ended up giving the bird to my mom cause the thing drove me nuts. AND it taught my kids to swear. My grandpa used to say sh** alot so the bird learned it. Then kept repeating it even long after my grandpa was gone. :eek:

i have 2 parakeets, Piggy and Lily they have learned a new trick which is driving me insane...They have learned to whine, yeah you heard me sounds just like luna when she cries....naughty birds make me even more paranoid than i am already. :D

I have heard of parakeets talking but none of mine ever did because they were in aviaries and had there own society going on. By the way any one with questions about parakeets I can answer many. :) :) :)

How funny. Give them some spinach when they do this that oughta keep them entertained and with their mouth full and eating. Baby spinach by the way wash it with warm water before giviing it, it helps with their feathering and coloring.

my birds are mutants they hate human food they hate water....they dont like to leave their cage seriously we leave the door open they never fly out so we get them out and they fly right back in if the door is open or if its closed they try and get it open
