We Are Back!
 

Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that Tini and I didn't vanish from the face of the earth! We are finally back on YT after a too long of a time away.
As some of you know little Tini had surgery 4 weeks ago to treat Legg Calves Perthes. She is making a great recovery and using her "bad" leg a little more each week. I am so happy to see her acting playful and crazy again. (I really never thought I would be able to say that when she was first diagnosed). I really appreciate all the advice from the YT community...I couldn't have made it without you!

Second...I started working again 2 weeks ago after taking time off for about 10 months. I really love my new job! I was really worried about Tini being by herself all day, but again, she has surprised me and is doing great. I do make extra time at night just to play and take her for a walk. Of course she is getting more treats (that is for my guilt) but so far so good. I actually think she sleeps most of the time I am gone since she doesn't eat and doesn't drink much water....what is everyone else's experience?

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thanks.....now I have to read about a 1000+ threads and see what you all have been up to!

Yes, welcome back and I am so glad the surgery was a success. Congrats on the new job. There is nothing like doing something you love.

Hi and welcome back! Glad your baby is feeling better. I think dogs, as they get a little older, do sleep a lot. And if you're giving her active play time in the evenings I'm sure she's fine. You're a good mommy to think about her.
