I didn't keep up with those post all the way BUT if I were getting attacked like he/she was you bet I would attack back. What he/she does in her/his breeding program is her/his business and not ours. Instead of bashing if I didn't like what I saw I would just not buy that's all not too hard.

Rude or not, you are talking about a fellow YT member. Please be a little respectful in your replies.

I totally agree with the above post!!!

We didn't start attacking him, HE started a thread asking for OUR opinions. When he didn't like what he heard, he started attacking people. If anyone has been around long enough, they know that neither other YT members nor admin, put up with members that try to stir controversy. The truth hurts sometimes. It may not be our business what he is doing as a career, but if he asks for an opinion, he will get one and probably not a good one since we're all AGAINST puppymills, and breeding as a career.

I thought he was nice and reputable too from what i could tell. He has ethics and he cares about the dogs. If I were looking for a mixed breed I wouldn't hesitate to check out his pups. he was also very honest and knowledgeable.

I think the people who do not care for him are primaritly those who disagree with mixing breeds. I do not think they thought he was not reputable for any other reason as I never saw that.

He was accused of breeding just for the profit. I consider that an attack.

Royal came to a Yorkie forum telling Yorkie lovers that Yorkies needed improving.
I find that "rude"..
We all welcomed Royal and still welcome him. YT members did not critize his mixes and would like the same respect back.

All the breeders on here and others are always talking about breeding to "improve the breed". Why is it wrong if he says it?

Actually, I did not get that from what he said at all. I think he was honestly interested in why some people are prejudiced against mixed breed dogs which they are and which most people confirmed in their responses. I think he did know the subject would be controversail but I think he felt the members here could discuss it without attacking him or being unfriendly. I do not think he was rude but I think it was rude that he was accused of "breeding ourely for the profit" and not out of love and passion for the animals also.

I think mixed breeds are adorable. There are a lot of YT members with mixes (like Rex's Mom) and they are the cutest things ever (especially Rex :p ). I myself love Maltepoos. But to be totally honest, I did not care for him because of the way he came across - and that is the ONLY reason why. My dislike has nothing whatsoever to do with his breeding mixed dogs.

My own personal opinion is: I would never breed a pure breed OR a mix because I think there are enough breeders and homeless dogs out there and I don't need to add anymore to the mix.

Personally I didn't care for him not because I disagree with mixing breeds, but because I didn't care for him making profits off the dogs. When a mixed breed is being sold for $1500, and the person admits that that's what their family lives on because of reasons x,y,z, I have no reason to NOT think he is doing it for profit and not for the love of the animal. It's much easier to keep breeding these poor dogs, and supporting your family right? At least that's how I assume mill breeders think. He came off as a know it all, who got butt hurt when his ideas or opinions got squashed. If anyone wants to be dooped by this guy or anyone like him, be my guest. But we are allowed to have our own opinions, even if he IS a YT member. There are plenty of members here that like to be the devils advocate on more than one occasion, and attack others for not agreeing with their opinions, and now he can be added to that list.

well i for one "got ino it" with her. but that doesn't mean that i disagree with mix breeds, i was stating the point that i DO NOT agree with her breeding so many dogs! :thumbdown she's a puppymill!!!!!and she just doesn't seem to think that there is anything wrong with that :eek: that to me is a problem. i don't feel that i was rude in anyway. and wether or not she's a member here, since when do we allow puppymillers to come here and defend what they are doing! hello we have a sister site MILLBUSTERS incase you all forgot!
