Urine Odor Tucker goes on his wee wee pads but sometimes misses, hitting the edge. I noticed a urine odor today in the livingroom. What's the best cleaner for getting out the smell? I just purchased a new Bissell Spot Lifter but the liquid cleaner that came with it, didn't work that well on the odor. |

:animal-pa Having the exact same prob here...I heard Simple Solution is good but wanted to wait for advice from here before I buy it:aimeeyork |
The urine soaks into the pad so you can't just clean the carpet. I love Natures Miracle. It gets right down into the pad. I let it dry thoroughly which can take days, then follow up with my Bissell Spot Bot with their pet shampoo. |
Odorban is good. You can get it at Sams club and walmart |

I ve tried a lot of different ones with 4 dogs and having to potty train 3 in less than a year and a half I couldn't get rid of the smell. Then I bought the Nature's Miracle and soaked the carpets and let them dry for a few days then ran my steam cleaner and it worked. |
This stuff gets even cat pee odor out, and that is by far nastier than dog pee odor: SCOE 10X Super Concentrated Odor Eliminator Buy the needle thing to get down into the carpet pad. I find it does not work so great on stains. For that I use "Get Serious" Stain and Odor extractor, you buy it at Petsmart. Warm it up first. |

I have tried a lot over the years, and I have to say I like Petzyme the best! I cannot believe how it eliminates the odor, and so easily too:)! I also like the No Return from Oreck that was mentioned above....it does removes stains wonderfully like magic, but since I had Petzyme first, I usually use that one for pet stains and the Oreck No Return for other type stains. The No REturn does have the enzyme though for removing the odor too. Good Luck! |

I wouldn't put Natures Miracle in the coffee maker. For one reason it contains something called enzymes, which are actually living bacteria. These bacteria eat the proteins in the urine that cause the smell. That's the only way to really get rid of the proteins, if you heat up the solution too high it might kill these bacteria. Plus do you really want this in your coffeemaker? Don't forget high temperatures can "set" a stain. |
i bought some stuff at Walmart Called Kids'N"Pets Instant All-Purpose Stain and Oder Remover. It woroks pretty good. It has a 5 start rating from Amazon.com |
