questions on crates? I am new to posting threads this is my first time.My name is Sofia I currently own 2 yorkies male and female as well ass two cats males. I have considered the idea of getting a crate for my yorkies who are 9 months and 6 months old, but i am confused in which one i should get.I was planning on getting a wood crate with wires because they look better then the ones that are only made out of wire, but now I am confused in which one I should get.I even saw a picture of a soft crate which in fact looked nice someone own this for her 4 yorkies. Can u please help me decide on a crate, the one made out of wood is made by richell USA does anyone have a crate by this manufacturer????I would also like to see some pictures of your crates. Is it a good idea to keep my two yorkies in the same crate or should I seperate them? Thanks alot and sorry for the long post..... |

I have the all metal one that I use for the night time. I think any of the crates will be ok just decide which you like better. |
If you are housetraining them or if there is any chance they will not get along they should have separate crates. If they are already house trained and the crate is just for when you leave the house, and they get along well, you can get one crate but make sure it is large enough. Mine had separate wire crates until Sam was finally trained and now they have one very large crate that they can share. They will let you know if they want to be separated. :D |
