I did some research on the CC products and found this site to have the lowest prices when you consider the products and shipping.

i used Vellus shampoo and conditioner for my baby ginger and it works on her, she doesn't itch and her coat is nice

I just ordered the CC system trail pack Day to day for my Yorkie and the white on white for my Shihtzu. I hope I am pleased!

My favorite is 15/1 Coathandlers Shampoo and Conditioner. I buy it in the gallon size and am always amazed how beautiful my long haired dogs coats look after grooming. This shampoo/conditioner was created by a woman who showed Yorkies. :)

I fell in love way back with the Crazy Pet Baby Dog Shampoo and Spray Conditioner. I just love the way it smells and no matter what, I always go back to it. I like the look of their bottles as well. Now that I am bathing 6 at a time, I have gone to the Dove from Sams with a PUMP top, shampoo and conditioner. I still finish them in crazy pet on their heads and for the scent. I use the spray conditioner every time I brush. Everyone loves the way they feel and smell (but especially, I do.) Luckily, these guys have good silky coats, (little to no matting) and even though they spend a good bit of time in the yard, the 'stuff' brushes right out. I bathe them once a week (2 hour job), but mainly I try to make sure they are rinsed well.

There is my opinion, I think good rinse, spray conditioner and best dog food make for the best coat. But I won't dismiss the possibility of Luck :)

At what age can you start cc? and if not till later, what do you use as pups?

I preferred PetSilk over CC.
IMO it smells way better than CC.

I use the Day to Day Moisturizing Shampoo along with the conditioner. I also use the Ice on Ice spray. I have given Roxie a bath every Sunday for almost a year and I have never had a problem with itching or dryness. :p
