He told me to shut up! When my Yorkie is ready for bed, he is ready!! He HATES to be petted or anything while he's trying to sleep. He likes to cuddle but if you touch him, he will make a noise and stare at you w/ hatred. :laugh: Anywho, the other night in bed, he was cuddled up to my chest in bed and I just started humming to him (just being silly). Well, he looked up at me very annoyed and put his mouth on my mouth. I think he was telling me to be quiet!! LOL He's so funny. Does your Yorkie just want to be LEFT ALONE while they're sleeping? :p |

It is so obvious that she just wants to be left alone! She's such a Diva! :) Matty on the other hand is the complete opposite. She drapes herself all over you and can't get close enough. She prefers to sleep draped across my neck or back to back with me so that I can't move an inch. If I pet her while she's asleep she just pulls herself closer and exposes her tummy for more loving. Kalina won't let Matty sleep with her either. She curls up on the chair next to my bed and doesn't move an inch until the next morning (as long as you don't bother her). |
If I bother Bailey when she is asleep, she sighs and whines and will kick her little legs really fast in the funniest way, like she is saying Leave me Alone haha. But when Mommy wants to sleep, she will bark and bite and growl! |
OMG, love that story! Hoku will huff at me and walk off and sleep at my feet. Kalani will put his paw on my mouth if I try to chat or sing. But, Pi'i will turn over on his back and purr like a cat - he loves his momma:D |
haha. Jack at least tolerates me petting him. I usually give him a massage as he is going to bed. What a little spoiled rotten dog?!:D I usually rub his toes, his "wrists" and his elbows and knees. Last night was the first night he got close enough to cuddle. |
:) What cute little divas. :p Tristan will leave if I bug him too much too! He has his own bed so if he gets annoyed w/ me, he will jump down and go sleep in that. :( haha |

Yep! Yorkies come with an attitude.:D Love your story. Kacee is that way totally, but Muffin would let you do anything when she was sleeping. Of course, they change as they get older, too. |

All mine love to be touched while asleep or laying down as they will curl up even closer to you to get you in the right spot...LOL |
Shelby loves for me to rub her and hold her when shes sleepy, she loves her head to be rubbed (so do i) lol.... but, if i am still awake when she is ready for bed she gets cranky!! she barks at me anytime i make the slightest noise and growl everytime i get up to leave the room.... she is so "kiddish" lol.... :p |
They used to cuddle ... Now , they want their space unless it's massage...:eek: |
We have a routine: I lay down, Bella comes up to my face for petting and kisses then lays down between my legs, Mickey comes up and paws at my face and yells at me like "its not time yet!" then lays at my feet, Cody then comes up and wants to be petted and then lays down at my belly, and Gracie well she is jealous and sticks her nose under my hand to be petted and then flops over on her back for a belly rub. When I stop moving she goes to sleep at my back, then comes the kitten who has to sleep curled up under my chin. My big cat Maizy, when she sleeps with us sleeps on my hip and side. In other words I'M Stuck in the same possition most of the night. I get my wakeup call by 4 barking babies in my face.:D |
ROFL, oh that's just TOOOOOO funny!! Maggy May likes to be petted when she's laying with me, or anytime rather. But if her and I are snuggled up in the bed and anyone comes in and tries to move her, she gets fussy. |
