CC System works I finally received my day to day kit today and gave Chewy his first CC bath. OMG!!! These products are really great. Even my husband commented on how soft Chewy's coat is. He's like a new little doggie. If anyone is thinking of trying these products but is on the fence, get them. ou won't be disappointed. |
What are CC products? If I am to find them in Canada I'll need a product name. Many thanks. |
On the fence? Who, me??? How did you know!!!!! Ok, on your word now I'm going to have to go order some for Sully! I've been debating it for a while and now we're in NEED of doggie shampoo so I better buy it beore I buy another brand from PetSmart out of necessity! Thanks! |

Val: If you get them for Sully I am sure you will love these products. You should check out Brooke's thread in the products section because her site is carrying this now and we get a discount. YAY!!! |

There must be something wrong with my CC products, because Kali and Mare smell like something very "dusty" (don't know the word in english), like an old attick or something after using CC - their coat is smooth and soft, but #1 all systems does that too. Only the smell is different. Really weird...the price is about the same...so I prefer #1 since the smell is better :) |
I wish I had saw this thread yesterday because I just ordered the gold on gold kit, pin brush and comb. Oh well, next time! Sue |
I too have been trying to decide if I should use the CC system...actually, not trying to decide-I am going to. But I HAVE NO IDEA which one I should use. I want a shampoo and conditioner, so I thought the day to day shampoo and conditioner (they have a day to day conditioner if I remember right). Here are my questions if someone wants to help me: 1) Which shampoo do you use? 2) Do you use a conditioner-if so, which one? 3) What other products do you use (and why if you don't mind)? 4) How many times a week do you shampoo your baby with this system? Mette-GREAT description. Just incase you were curious, the word for what you are describing is musty. :) ;) I do that sometimes and my only language is English. :) |
I love the CC products on my yorkie but I prefer to ues Petsilk on my maltese. Guess different products work better on certain tyoe hair. Petsilk smells wonderful for days! |
Has anyone found it on Brooke's website? I just looked and didn't see it. Please let me know if I've over-looked it this morning. Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't been on the fence, just procrastinating! When I heard it was going to be on Brooke's site I decided it was time to finally get it! Any pictures of Chewy after his CC bath? |
Okay Bruce desparately needs this his coat is a wreck!!! Thank you for getting me to jump off the fence! |

Gerry, you should get a discount from CC for people ordering! |

Also, re: the gold on gold. Someone on here got that for her dog and the pup looked great so I wouldn't worry. I'll try to post pics of Chewy today but my pic system is acting up. AGAIN. |
I have these products too and love them. I have to get another detangler for my one yorkie he has a really cotton coat and the Ice on Ice doesn't work for him. I love it for my other yorkie that has a silk coat though. The shampoo and conditioner work great and smell good. |

Ok, I finally got it due to all the hype and OMG...this stuff is INCREDIBLE! After just one bath, you can totally tell the difference. I used the day to day shampoo and conditioner on her and then the ice on ice. She is so soft and shiny, her hair looks better then mine! This stuff is great. |
Ok now I will admit I was resting on the fence, with one leg on one side and one on the other...OUCH! So I bought some so I can get off the darn painful fence...haha |
Gerry, I too was impressed after 1 use  I highly recommend anyone to give it a try :D |
Has anyone used Vellus? How do the two compare? |

The smell of strawberry flavor is now emanating from the girls and they look beautiful :) I am so glad I found out what was wrong because I started to feel like an idiot when everyone else loved the products and I didn't. (Not that that couldn't happen, but...you know...hehe) |

I wish I had Stock in that company - I think we all put them on the map ! |
CC Systems.....LOVE IT! I love the CC system.... :) I use it also on Sophie....Villette recomended it way back to me... I've also used Pet Silk. Both are good products....but I really like the CC products. :D When I bath Sophie and use the cream rinse.....her coat when its dry, feels like it has a barrier of some sort on it.. It feel so soft...each strand of hair is different~ Hard to explain. You can feel it working. And..I couldn't live without the ice on ice for daily spritz when Sophie wears clothes or just a fast brush... :) I love the smell too! :D |
WOW this thread was started so long ago and it found it's way back!!! Yeah, I still love these products. Chewy's hair is so soft and since I have been using them, his hair doesn't mat so I just brush him out with ice on ice every 2-3 days and he looks so fresh afterwards. A great find! |
I just ordered day to day shampoo, conditioner and ice on ice from Brooke's site. Do you dilute it or use it right out of the bottle? Phyllis |
I use it right out of the bottle, but it's out of laziness that I haven't diluted it and it's fine. I think either way is OK. |
I love the stuff too!! I bought the Day to Day Shampoo and Conditioner for Dublin and the White on White for my Eskie, and I'm using the Ice on Ice on all my dogs. (Dublin is the only one that gets bathed at home - the others go to the groomer.) Fiona has never looked whiter, and her thick coat feels fabulous! The Day to Day - especially the conditioner - leaves Dublin so soft! The Ice on Ice keeps them all fresh between the groomings and makes brushing so much easier! Yet another reason I'm grateful that I found YT! |

Here are some answers to your questions: 1) Which shampoo do you use? I use the day to day shampoo 2) Do you use a conditioner-if so, which one? I use the day to day conditioner 3) What other products do you use (and why if you don't mind)? Some people use the leave in conditioner. I haven't used it but some members swear by it! 4) How many times a week do you shampoo your baby with this system? I shampoo Stomper once a week now. This product can be used daily if you prefer to do that! |

I'm thinking about using the CC system. Does the Ice on Ice help with the matts? Sadie gets matts very easily and I don't like to dry brush and comb her, so I am looking for something to use. Have been trying to decide between the CC system and the Pet Silk. Brooke's site has the CC system and I was going to order from her, but she doesn't carry the Pet Silk. Sadie still has some of her puppy fur. When does the adult fur come in? She will be 4 months old in the beginning of October. Thanks!!! |
I am thinking about buying these too.... should I buy all of them.. the shampoo/conditioner and the ice on ice leave in treatment or will that make my yorkies hair too greasy if I use them all at the same time??? |
