I think that pup is going to have a more fox like nose. I like the small noses also. My Jewels has one and it is just the look I prefer

Unfortunately, this will be Foxie's mom last litter because she is getting spayed. The breeder feels that she is getting to old to have puppies and doesn't want to put her through it anymore. I have attached pictures of my Foxie below when she was a puppy and what she looks like now. I don't think she has a really short nose...I would guess it is average? It was so easy to tell with foxie because the day I bought her..I was allowed to take her home because she was older. In this situation, the puppies are only 5 weeks, but she is taking down payments to reserve the puppies until they are ready and it is so hard to tell at this age because they look soo similar! I attached a pick below of the mother and foxie. The first pictures are of Foxie...the last is of the mother. Could anyone guess if the puppy i am interested in is going to resemble my foxie more or her mother?

i think its going to look more like the mother or father... and not so much like your baby

please do not try to pursade this person into getting a dog that she doesnt really want. there is nothing wrong with having a preference for certain physical features when looking for a new dog. im sure if she does not get this puppy it will find another good home. she said it is a good breeder, it is surely not on death row at the pound.

You're right, she shouldn't buy a puppy that she doesn't want, I definitely think people should be able to buy what suits them, it's still is hard for me to read about it, I can't help feeling sorry for it.

I think you are right. I took my mom to see the puppies today..and she had a hard time choosing. She was torn between the one I have been showing you guys and another little girl. She is leaning towards the one I have been discussing with everyone because she is the smallest out of the litter. By no means will any of the breeders dog be the really tiny size. She doesn't believe in breeding for size, and we don't believe in the whole "teacup" craze. My puppy foxie is about 5 lbs..and my mom would like her puppy to stay around the same weight...small but not too small. The breeder said she thinks the puppy I have been showing everyone will be about 5 lbs..but the others will be larger. Because of this, I think we are going to choose her! I think we are just over analyzing this! All of her puppies are cute and what really matters in the end is that the dog my mom gets is healthy and has a good temperment. Below are the picks of the puppy my mom has desired to purchase? What do you think? Any opinions of her are welcome. She is 5 weeks old and about 1lb 1 oz. Thanks everyone!

They are darling, and you are on the right track getting a puppy from a breeder you love and trust. How fun it is going to be for you and your parents to have "sisters". Best wishes to all of you.

well you Foxie sure is adorable...and i think her snout is perfect...not to long and not to short...maybe i am blind...hehe...either way she is cute!

maybe your mom would like a shih tzu or pekingnese instead...hehe...jk

I think she's absolutely adorable. I like the 5-pound size too; you don't have to worry so much if there the type that wants to jump off the couch. :D

Long nose, short nose, purple nose, pink nose with yellow polka dots... Doesn't really matter because it obvious that she's won over your heart. She's such a little cutie. You should name her Stella because she is a star.

I'm glad your mom went to the breeder, got to look for herself and be apart of the process, plus it will take some of the pressure off you. I definitely think its harder to pick out a dog for someone else.
