she keeps peeing on the same spot!
 
chloe has this juicy couture travel set and the pad/blanket thing that is meant for her to play/sleep on is on the floor in my room
she keeps peeing on it!
everytime i wash it she pees on it


do you have any suggestions to stop her from peeing on it?

she thinks it is a pp pad.. take it away and use a pp pad in that spot if you use them... when she is trained you can put it back down again..that is one problem with using pp pads I find...

Once a dog has peed on something it will return to this same spot, this is one of the reasons it's fairly easy to pee-pad train small dogs. If the dog pees on a spot where you don't want them to return, you must use an enzyme cleaner such as Natures Miracle or any of the others sold at pet stores. These enzyme cleaners contain special bacteria, that actually eat the protein left in urine, and this protein causes the smell to which the animal is attracted. Other cleaners will mask the smell to your nose, but not to their nose. Spray the article and let dry naturally because it takes time for these enzymes to do their work.

should i do this before or after i wash it in the washer?

I do it before I wash it; it's easier to saturate the spot before it's spread to the whole article. By the way, it's best to buy this by the gallon, the first year, you use it a lot, and it's great for carpet.
