From reading this site (and having a crappy time choosing a username) :P I think it would be safe to say that BAILEY is the most popular name for our yorkies! My yorkie's name is Bailey (she was named after my friend), and I can't tell you how many others I have met or how many I've seen on this site with the name. :D It's cute i love it :p

Ha! I used to work at a vet's office and you are right....Bailey is definitely up there in the top names for dogs....it's not just yorkies but all dogs. It is a very popular name.:):aimeeyork:aimeeyork

My little ones name is Baylee. I decided I wanted to be diff. so I changed up the spelling!

I've noticed that Baily spelled many ways is popular and of course a very adorable name. Also, I never realized how popular roxie is. There are so many neat names on here that I'd have never thought of. Everyone is so creative in naming their little ones. Makes me want another yorkie to love and come up with a cool name for!! :D

I have a Baileigh Jo who is a boxer....she is also known as mama's girl, mama's fat dog, bee-bailer and sometimes just Jo....she was the first dog that was my very own and I got to name all by myself. :number1ri

My younger sister & her husband just named her human child (a little boy) "Bailey." You can't imagine how many times I tried to talk her out of it, for this very reason!

I have a blog friend who has a grandson named Bailey and a pastor friend who had a part Yorkie named Bailey.

My babies are named Abby & Daisy and I've seen a lot of the furbabies here with those names too. I guess I'm not very creative.:p But I love the names anyway.

I am no good at picking names. I was discussing this with my sis and I told her that his daddy's name
is Angelbabies Golden Pepper. So my sis suggested Pepper. And that is how my lil man got his name.

Bailey is definitely one of the most popular boy dog names. At this site MOST POPULAR DOG NAMES : list of most POPULAR PUPPY NAMES Bailey ranked 4, petplace Top Names for Dogs! ranks it at 5. Dogster ranks it at 7th in popularity Dogster Dog Names Buddy, Max, and Jake, beat it in all three places, but the lists are for all dogs, not just Yorkies.

:I'm with chachi, bella is a very popular name too. I was gonna name my Darla, Bella, but after looking at this website and other websites I found that a lot of yorkies names is Bella.:p Darla was different than other names and hardly anyone had that name so that's what i went with.:D

I WANTED A YORKIE FOR A LONG TIME. HER NAME WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE BELLE ROSE. INSTEAD I NAMED 'HER SADIE BELL', BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY DOGS IN MY AREA NAMED BELLA.:p

My puppie's name came to me at 2 in the morning after I had watched the Harry Potter movie. Half asleep putting him on his pee pad I thought he looked like a little wizard ..hence the Wizard of Paws ..Wiz for short .. it seemed appropriate in so many ways . ...and of course , he wizzes a lot !!

That is funny I just got my Darla about 6 weeks ago. She had two names they called her Darla or Bella. I chose to call her Darla too, because of all the Bellas on here.

We had a dalmation named Bailey growing up, so I would say that name is pretty popular in the dog world. But I think the number 1 names for all breeds is Max
