| mybirdys2003 | 01-28-2005 01:09 PM | Thanks Christi and Orinskye! It really is a hard thing. I brush her teeth every day, and wash out her eyes and brush her. I keep the clippers by the sink and everyday when I do the above, I hold her paw and touch the clippers to it. Thinking the same thing, that she would get use to it. I have both the clippers and the guilloitine one and the sissors type ones that I used on my birds. She just won't hold still for it at all. God help me! Never in all of the dogs I've had have I had a dog that reacts like this. Maybe in time? Last night she was completely out on my lap, and I was rubbing her paws, and picked up the clippers and---ZOOM RIGHT AWAKE AND JUMPED OFF THE CHAIR! What a Brat! |
