FIRST BIEWER BREED CLUB IN CANADA OSHAWA, ON, JULY 28, 2008: Today marks an exciting new chapter in the history of the Biewer through the
formation of the Biewer Breed Club Canada (BBCC).

The BBCC will work diligently to preserve, protect and promote the Biewer breed. “We are pleased to be able to offer a truly Canadian venue for breed enthusiasts to come together and work in unison for the betterment of the
breed,” remarked Jan Prosser, founding member of the BBCC.

The BBCC will openly work alongside the existing Biewer Breed Club International (BBCI) to broaden the scope of each clubs presence. “Given the commonality of each clubs goals, it is our great honour to work with the well-
established BBCI in our efforts to enhance not only upon the breed, but what is being offered to the growing number of Canadian enthusiasts,” stated Helen Curran, founding member of the BBCC.

“The BBCI welcomes this expansion and looks forward to sharing in many future successes with the BBCC members,” stated Theresa Perry, Executive Member of the BBCI. “Although the clubs will remain as separate entities, we wholly embrace co-operation between the two clubs.

Congratulations ladies.....I am so happy for you. Keep up the good work! This breed is growing in popularity and we will need more people out there looking out for these dogs. So glad that Canada now has a club starting out with great and compassionate members!
